I am getting quotes for an A/C system and got a quote for Guardian 3 ton 13.5 seer. Do any of you have the Guardian brand? I wont use the A/C that often, maybe 2-3 weeks a year...and am looking for something economical. 10 year warranty.

I do not think Paul Bunyans is open after all. Nobody in parking lot there the past two days. The Yacht Club is packed. I do not know where all those people park.....and what condo owners think of the outdoor noise that is there now, that was not there in past years....

Paul Bunyans may not be open after all. Drove by there this afternoon and 0 cars. When I drove by on Friday , the parking lot was full. So not sure. Will check again tonight.

What temperature can you get your room down to with the air purifier and A/C?? I am trying to get the small bedroom to 68-69 or even less..... I just came across an a/c unit that does not need a window, I wonder how good it works...

The A/C in my condo in the city only gets bedroom to around 71. Anybody know of a fan/tower fan that can cool a small bedroom down to say 65?? Bedroom is only 10 feet by 13 feet...I bought a pelonis tower fan, but that doesnt do much.... or a portable a/c unit that doesnt need an outside...

Am going to spray and wipe with Mold Armor Indoor and Outdoor Mold killer, and wipe it with moist cloth. Then come summer going to repaint the areas with wall paint that has some mold protector in it as well.

The paint on the wall is Hallman Lindsey. The entry window has been fixed and no more moisture problems. The stains are at 4 various areas in the house, not any room or area of house in particular. Going to stop at paint and hardware store today to see what they recommend. These small stains...

Minocqua chain has no ice now. All open water. Do you guys think it is ok to take out dock de-icer for the season and put it away???

As long as you have an "open water sign" , flags, ropes, etc you will not be held liable. Just follow DNR rules and regulations. My cousin puts his deicer on March 15 for a day or two and that does the trick for him and his permanent dock. Although, permanent docks may move when the ice...

I got my dock de-icer in early this year (jan) and have had no major problems. Have kept lift in year round for 10 years now. It is an old steel lift.

The estimate to replace the glass window and seal in the door is $316. Going that route. The window people say the door is fine.

House still has temp of 60 and 44 degrees humidity.

Update: The moisture on window has stopped. No dampness at all. I do not understand. Was it because now we have some snow on the ground?

The window company on rt 70 in Minocqua says it is a window glass issue and a new glass replacement will cost around $300 and take 6-8 weeks.Will go that route.
