Paul, I have just bought the kit. Either at Timberline up at Bergland or over at Lando. Like Smokenjoe said it comes with new rings for the filter and plugs.

Have you looked at the pre-painted LP Smart siding? I have a friend who used the Diamondcote pre-painted LP from Pukall. It was good looking stuff and seems to not fade or discolor after several years up north.
