Thanks for sharing. I have fond childhood memories of going up on the garage roof in the middle of the night to watch the northern lights. We'd yip and howl to get the coyotes to respond to us, too.

I was flying to Seattle for work a few weeks ago and watched three episodes of this on the plane. I never heard of the show before the flight but I was sucked in immediately!

Yes, it was wet snow! ~8" in Duluth; saw some sled tracks out this morning.

About 2" in Duluth and snowing very hard right now. Forecasts of up to 8" here and maybe 10-15" farther up the north shore.

What a great pic! The highest total I see from NWS reporters is 24 inches 6 miles NE of Negaunee.
