The forms were pulled off Saturday morning, concrete work looks really good. The backfilling begins next week hopefully and the floor gets poured.

It's a crazy lot that certainly has it's challenges, the thing that keeps us here is the lake and the life it offers, just tonight we were enjoying a cocktail on the pier and our neighbors from down the lake stopped by and picked us up for a pontoon boat ride around the lake. Just what I needed...

Just finishing the walls today. In the last photo you can see the power line to my house that was not disconnected today, Concrete guy has long and high enough boom and pumper to go right over it.

Phase 2 is the house, it will raised 4 ft to level it out with garage and that will give high cielings in the basement where we need them. This is a journey that is finally starting!

Gotcha, how was the bluegill fishing? We are in full summer fishing mode here. Pick your time to go out if you want walleyes, usually around 8pm to 10pm or later. Smallmouth can be had during the day, haven't been panfishing much.
