Received a fresh 4" of LES over night with low temps of -4. Snow was very fine & packed like cement once driven or stepped on. We have the potential for an additional 8 to 12" tonight. I have had enough for a little while, 30" in 4 days and counting.

-4 at 6am with a windchill of -25 in the Banana Belt (Tamarack City, Hubbell, Lake Linden)

Well, we got it, and now it doesn't want to stop. Received roughly 16 to 18" over the last 3 days, most of which has been courtesy of Uncle LES & Aunty Arctic. Currently a whopping 6 degrees with a windchill of -8. This looks to continue through Wednesday with additional snows of 10 to 12"...

Keep in mind, it's bottomless feathers right now. Need some settling time, too many things hidden to hit. A lot of snow in areas, but still consider it early season riding & ride with caution.

Hard to say exactly as the winds were a factor, 12+ in spots, 2-3" in others here in the Banana Belt of the Keweenaw (Lake Linden, Hubbell, Tamarack City area). I would guess between 6 & 8". Still snowing lightly, we'll see if the winds play right to turn on the LES, temps are suppose to drop...

Not a lot happening here, at least not right now. As quick as the switch flipped on it turned off up here. We'll have to revisit this in the a.m.

4:00 p.m. Like a light switch had been flipped as far as more consistant snows. Still not real heavy, but steady, not sure whats with the NWS radar, it is now showing the system snows gradually creeping into the Keweenaw, for how long & how much will remain to be seen.

As of this posting (3:15 pm} the snow here has not been anything more than the occasional light sporadic shower with some gusts of wind on occasion. I am not sure what to make of the system snow right now. Looking at the current radar, it appears as though the Keweenaw has a bubble over it as...

Oddly enough, here in the Keweenaw (Houghton County) the temp actually rose by 3 degrees, now at +31 with very light sporadic snows with light wind. Things that make you go hmmmm......
