70 miles yesterday on some fantastic trails!

Highlighted is what I rode yesterday, and everything was a 10/10. Thinking of doing Newald, Popple River, Fence loop today.

-20 in Crandon right now. Put 70 miles on some fantastic Forest county trails yesterday. Hope to get on the sleds in a couple hours.

Trail 13 may never reopen. Would require hefty bridge to be built via the DNr/state.

Yes I know the marked trail brings you to 2/3, but this is unmarked. I’ve only rode from the casino a few times in my lifetime but there is always tracks heading the opposite direction.

On a related note, I have seen a packed down path heading north/northeast out of the casino parking lot. I’m assuming some guys take some forest roads out of there? That darn grade and the red snow honestly makes me hesitate to start from there. Takes a handful of rides to get the red out of...

My buddy has 1k miles on this season in the Keweenaw, and Vilas & Iron counties and he put 150 miles on today on mostly LMT trails and said it was the smoothest trails he’s ridden all year.

I did just send Skylar a message but he said he wouldn’t have the first clue what to do. I’m not sure where Nora stands on the website, I’m not trying to judge, maybe she’s not interested in keeping the site going for personal reasons?

Scottiking has some health issues, but him and Skylar do have contact with Nora. I believe they’ve taken her out to dinner a few times since John’s passing. I talk with Skylar almost on a daily basis.
