There’s a big billboard style sign saying to take the trail. I would only utilize taking Grand Marais rd (H58) if you have to (for lodging, fuel, emergency, etc) just my 2 cents

I haven’t seen much decrease in totals, just a slightly southward track. Doesn’t mean it’s disappearing, it’s just moving (happens every time until the snow starts falling)

Yep, my town along with almost all nearby towns its been legal to ride atv/utv on any non numbered road (can’t believe it took the northwoods this long to follow) but heaven forbid you take a sled on those roads in a snowstorm and there’s a good chance someone’s calling you in

There is another one as well that I haven’t seen a report for… guy in his mid 20s that works at another local machine shop died yesterday on a sled, not sure the location.
