Sure, but an hour to the east trails are night and day better, and for anyone coming from the south the drive time is the same. Many will go up there and wreck their carbides skis and hyfax just to save that $52 trail pass LOL

Be careful those who try it, and do your homework where the best possible conditions will be. This is one of the trails in iron county that they’re opening…

Trail dead ends at Alston from the north. Right now it’s pretty thin and have heard some people are trying to ride in that area, but I think in 3 weeks time that area will probably be just fine.

They do NOT have their liquor license and I don’t think they ever will get it. Previous owner transferred ownership to his son who is a felon and that’s why the state revoked their license allegedly. They are open however business sounds slower.

They’ve been running 2-3 groomers daily for weeks. Just way too much traffic. I passed two groomers tonight and after 5 sleds you couldn’t tell. They run every trail twice on weekends, if you hit it early morning tomorrow guarantee it will be great.

You must be out of touch of the choices Newsom has made for his state regarding where he chooses to route fresh water, operation of his fire hydrants, and whom he’s placed in charge along with funding that has been cut… Not to mention there is video after video of criminals creating fires across...

FWIW, bought a 600 ace that wasn’t ran last year and my dad bought a 600 etec that wasn’t ran last year. Couldn’t get the last couple gallons siphoned out. Little running on that gas and both sleds fouled plugs…

Agree, hoping they get 3-5” out of this clipper on Sunday so they can get out and roll it. Then one more clipper and they’re in business to at least open but would likely be poor. No one can do as much with little snow as Vilas clubs.

Yeah, very unfortunate. Got off the phone a bit ago with acorn lodge and cancelled my Boulder junction trip in a couple weeks. The tone in the owners voice was not pleasant

Going to need snowfall in the double digits to get them going unfortunately. Clipper coming thru Sunday MIGHT get them halfway there
