The inspection today shows I need one new oil pan gasket. They will call me with estimate tomorrow. I stopped at another garage on way home and they want $1k to install a new oil pan gasket. They said it is not cheap.

They have to replace tie rods for sure, and I will get an estimate of what it will cost to fix the oil issue. Hope it is not a major issue. Next wednesday is the appointment.

I dont know anything about PCV or engines. The mechanic yesterday is a different mechanic than the one that is going to fix it next Wed. I stopped by a garage in Rhinelander and the mechanic slid under the car for quick inspection. He could see drips sticking to pieces of the underneath of the car and was able to put his finger on some oil to show me the leak(s). He said it may be a seal and said the car was good to the car...

Went and got my 6 month oil change today and they said there is "oil seeping heavily from front and passenger side of engine, also seeping between engine and transmission", and "driver side cvaxel is seeping", plus new tie rods are needed. The car is a Ford Edge 2014 with 105k miles on it...

The AC was installed today and it works great. Took 7 days from estimate to install and I recommend Badger Heating of Boulder Junction. It also will dehumidify the basement as well when running. I don't understand how rain will not hurt the unit....part of it is under a roof, other part is open...

Never had any mold issues. Humidity guage is at 50 right now. AC will be installed within 2 weeks.

For those of you who have a/c, what does it cost you if you run the A/C for a month straight?

I am getting quotes for an A/C system and got a quote for Guardian 3 ton 13.5 seer. Do any of you have the Guardian brand? I wont use the A/C that often, maybe 2-3 weeks a year...and am looking for something economical. 10 year warranty.

I do not think Paul Bunyans is open after all. Nobody in parking lot there the past two days. The Yacht Club is packed. I do not know where all those people park.....and what condo owners think of the outdoor noise that is there now, that was not there in past years....

Paul Bunyans may not be open after all. Drove by there this afternoon and 0 cars. When I drove by on Friday , the parking lot was full. So not sure. Will check again tonight.

What temperature can you get your room down to with the air purifier and A/C?? I am trying to get the small bedroom to 68-69 or even less..... I just came across an a/c unit that does not need a window, I wonder how good it works...

The A/C in my condo in the city only gets bedroom to around 71. Anybody know of a fan/tower fan that can cool a small bedroom down to say 65?? Bedroom is only 10 feet by 13 feet...I bought a pelonis tower fan, but that doesnt do much.... or a portable a/c unit that doesnt need an outside...
