Come on Indy post what is good & bad regarding Poos regarding the Poo topic thread sled. No reason to confuse things with bashes about other brands start another thread & see what happens regarding your topic thread. Certainly Nitro needs to be advised that a long list of updates need to be implemented on the 800 or he will have trouble for sure. Sounds like if all updates are complete the 800 will run well if not not a good outcome & that is where S&M comes in from ezra. For me I very much dislike recalls & updates a real PIA I would rather ride than take endless trips back to dealer but that is me & to each his own.

So you have never ridden one?

No

Has whitedust ridden a Poo 800? Doubt it

Are yamaha's reliable? Yes, probably the most reliable out there. There's plusses and minuses to every brand out there, but when people consistantly put down the Poo 800, why can't I put down their brand? Is it because I haven't owned the brand I'm putting down? Chances are the people putting down Poo 800's haven't ridden one either. Do Poo 800's have problems? Heck Yes! But with some work they are great sleds.

I'm not trying to start a personal attack with nobody. The reason I tend to put smiley faces is to show I'm not all serious and in their face. There's no other way to say things a certain way on a forum without them. Are they childish? I'll let you answer that. I will continue to use them so people understand i'm not trying to attack them, as I never do.

Back to the 800's...

No you do not, half the people out there don't have problems, the other half do it just for the peace of mind, and the additional 5+ hp.

Unless you want to go around a corner and slam into a tree, you have to put power steering with new ski's and carbides on a 600+ lb yamaha.... Just sayin'!

I own a Polaris. I had to put different carbides on it. I have ridden a Yamaha four stroke and thought it handled just fine. Didn't seem overly heavy.

It's called maturity. And I'm sure with others, I'm tired of it from both of you in both directions.

Who started the bashing on this thread?

Hoosier and Skylar,

Take a close look at who started the bashing in the second post. He does it all of the time and I never hear any of you guys jumping on him, but always right in there to jump down Indy's throat!

I'm just sayin'!?!?!?!?! What's up with that?

this is always good stuff here on JD when you talk sleds........I like cat grew up on Yamaha and i have ridden every sled you you guys have talked about....even Ezra 05saberkitty......I ride with all Dragon800 cpl Doos and very few kittys.....The Poo800 is an AWSOME sled ONLY AFTER YOU DO THE UPDATE STUFF......if their an poo800 out there that has not done the updates then that would be the owners fault and i have seen the guys on here that wont admit they need the updates and still run stock set up!!!!with that said i agree with Whitedust on this I hate going to the dealer for anything let alone a new motor I myself would not make a good poo customer as I would go thru the roof if my "less than a year old sled" blew a motor........Now back to the poo I ride with...friken awesome sleds no issue when they run!! one Dragon is on 3rd rebuild and the second one is on his first rebuild......both 2009!!!!Both Run Great to this day most issue where delt with in 2010 season.....would I buy a new poo? yes!!!just not till next year after the new chassis gets another year on it.......

Indy is tru Blue to Poo and that's great!!!!But to think any brand is the BEST is just Naive!!!!Every Brand has an area where it shines just so happen Cats is How Bullet Proof they are

How is Ezra's post bashing when the original question asked about problems with the Poo 800 and Ezra posted that many of them have problems? Indy on the other hand, as he does from time to time, had to point out that non-Polaris' have problems also.

I don't think Indy needs anyone to stick up for him.
