Funny thing is, I don't really recall this one. April 16th 2018.

Lol! I do that all the time now with my years. Essentially skip 2020!

That snow storm was the biggest snow storm for Central WI in a long time! And it happened in April..... Such a waste..
I had to DJ a wedding that night. My normal hour drive turned into 2+ hours at 2am in the morning. I had to have my defrost on full blast to keep the front window from freezing over. My driver window was wide open the full drive..

well I got a dusting of snow this morning here
then turned to rain and bye bye it went
NO blizzard for sure, but snow in Mid April none the less!

Ah, I remember it well. I actually ended up in the bull eye's of the storm. I was coming back from a gambling trip to Wendover NV, and after departing from the airport, I was racing across WI with the storm at my back. About 10 miles from the WI casino the storm hit. At the time there was no snow on the ground at all. What was planned to be only a one night stay turned out to stranding me for 4 nights. Fortunately, the entire trip was a good one and I won on every day of the entire trip. The trip contributed 14% to my overall win for the year and all my hotel stays were comped.

I remember that storm! Also, I think it was 2019 when we (Duluth area, at least) got 10" of snow on May 8 or snow. Maybe the UP got a lot more in that one?

Yes it was 2 years ago in May we got 9 inches of snow in Iron River WI. BTW its snowing here this morning, about a half inch and sticking to grass but not pavement. And they are discussing opening the trails up for atving earlier than May 1st.

Yep, I remember that one vividly. About 2 weeks after that snowfall we got A LOT of rain, and Lake Winnebago was overfull by about 9" compared to summer level (for early May was about 15" higher than it should have been), and I had to pump out my crawlspace, had about 8" of water. above the gravel. Got it pumped down to around 12-15" below the gravel then got a smaller younger lad to go down there with me and we dug in a sump pump/crock with short shovels working on our knees.

Hi! I'm in Iron River right now and figure we got 1.5" (as measured on my deck railing), but it is melting fast.

I remember it well. It was my wifes 60th birthday and we had a party for her. Everyone was hesitant to come to our place but the storm let up enough on Saturday that people came.
The photo with the snowblower shows the cut bank at 9" and the second photo shows the same spot on Monday morning at 22".

It looked like we were visiting our kids in Leadville, CO or maybe Calumet, MI. Nope this was a parking lot in downtown Green Bay. Amazing how everything in the City closed the doors, less every other tavern. Go figure.
