2000 indy 500 wont stay idled down

I looked it up and I did the main and pilot but not the air, I was afraid of messing up the setting. I might redo it and do like they said counting the turns in.....

Pilot air screw is adjusted from the seated position then backed out "X" turns, I think it's 3, but not sure.-Mezz

I dont know, must be the crank seal on the right side I cant get to with spray

Last weekend I used up nearly a whole can of starter fluid trying to make it change rpm with no luck
I took the carbs back off and took apart everything this time and cleaned them and it still happened...

Thanks for the ideas though!

You might want to try this,
Not a snowmobile but same principle
You will have to remove recoil

Make sure you idle is not to high because your timing advance can set the rpm up higher if your at that threshold

my wife's 15 doo spost is starting to do the same thing . I am pretty sure her flatsides are catching
