That was an unbelievable game....what an ending and can you believe Hossa scored the winning goal GO HAWKS!

Yes ubee, I know all the players get time with the cup. It just looked funny in type. It was an amazing game Saturday. The rollercoaster of emotions was almost unbareable. The Wings fans had it lucky today. They got their neck stepped on from the opening face off, so there was no reason for an optimistic high and a dissapointing low.
maybe the nhl officials will come down hard on hossa as a 5 min major with injury should have kept him off the ice for rest of game and suspension for more games! I tried to go for the puck," Hossa said. "The guy turned his back to me. You don't want to hit a player that way, but I couldn't stop my motion."

That hit did not warrant a suspension. There was no injury and no lost time by the player. And, you could clearly see he lost an edge before he got hit, which made him fall. Yes, it should have been a boarding penalty, but the right call was made with no suspension.

This is how you play a game seven...remember the Colorado days...down 3 games to 2...win game 6 and then BLOW out the Avs in game seven!!!! They will have their ups and downs in a 7 game series but I will take the Wings in any seven game series. Gotta love Datsyuk and "Z"...

Yeah, I know...it took the Wings seven games to get rid of the pesky Coyotes...but, they took command in game 7!!! That was a clinic...Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Zetterberg played awesome and the D was great! Look out Sharks cause the Wings are coming to town!
Serously though...this should be a great series and I like the fact that the Wings are starting on the road. It seems to relax them more than most would think...but I truly believe that they don't have the pressure when they are on the road!
Anyway...I know I am talking to myself with this, but all you Wings fans that gave up on them...shame on you! I am a die hard Wings fan until the bitter end...Win or lose they are my team and we will see what the Sharks can bring! Like I said, should be a great series and I look forward to rooting for my Wings!! I think that they can continue their great play right into the Shark tank and steal a game (...or two) from the favored Sharks!
My hopes are for a Wings vs. Hawks conference final...that would be awesome! By the way, I am rooting for the underdog Habs vs. the Capitals too...even though I think that the Capitals are gonna take game seven...you never know, the Habs goalie is hot right now! It would be cool to see another original six in the next round! Anywho...I will be rootin for the Wings (obviously) first, but after that I would like to see Boston, Montreal and Chicago win the other spots for the conference finals...how cool would it be to have 4 original six teams in the conference finals!!! That would be incredible! We shall see after tomorrow night...go Habs!
See you on Thursday night (I am assuming this schedule by the way) for game one Wings vs. Sharks!! Either way, I look to see a great game whenever they play...

Blackhawk fan here. Maybe went to 7 games this season.
Anyway I was in Las Vegas april 16th. The Hawks were 3-1 to win the cup and the Wings 10-1.
I put my meager bet on the Wings.
I told my wife friday the april 16th I bet the Hawks to win first game vs. Nashville. When I told her I bet $10. she said don't be so cheap you love the Blackhawks your in Vegas go back and bet at least $100. Unfortunately I did and they lost that game 4-1.
