The Wings may be out, 'tis sad but true.....but I'm going to go out on a limb and say there are about 29 other teams in the league who wish they've had the success the Wings have enjoyed that past 15 years.
will go 7 games owners need to sell more beer and hot dogs to pay hossa for 12yrs!! Hawks fans are glad Wings are gone cause Wings beat up on them for years!
Michael Leighton is for real—and he has all those zeros to prove it.
Leighton stopped 30 shots and recorded his second straight shutout, and the Philadelphia Flyers beat the Montreal Canadiens 3-0 on Tuesday night to take a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference finals.
I would not get too excited. He is a second string goalie, playing agianst an 8th seeded team with no offense whose goalie is now comming back to earth after his own hot streak. Philly will advance, but Leighton may have a little harder time against one of the 2 teams left in the west, both of whom have much better offenses than what he has encountered thus far.
Is Pavelski still on the Sharks? It is kinda hard to tell. I see someone who may look like him but it is hard to tell with Toews all around him picking his pocket and making him look less than average. Oh well, he will be back on his favorite fishing lake monday morning.
Sharks played a good game 3 but hawks played better! hawks havent seen the cup since 1961 when I was a pee wee and used to listen on the radio to Hockey Night IN Canada on Saturday nights.Maybe its their turn to win it if they canbreak the Hossa curse ! LOL!
4 to go! What Hossa curse? Amazingly enough, one person can not win a cup all by himself, no matter how much money he gets paid. A player can be exceptional and help his team win without ever showing up on the scoresheet!
I'm just relieved that I won't have to suffer through watching a California team play for (and worse yet, win) the Cup. Now if only Montreal could take care of Philly......
