40lb weight loss from the 2010, they have the dry weight spec at 431bs.

Drooling right now. :)

Right but it was pretty easy when riding the pre-production fusions back in '04 that the first generation IQ front end was going to be a handfull on a mountain sled due to heavy steering and an enormous weighted front end feel. That was the input I was after, if anyone had any seat time on the '09 Rush compared to an IQ RAW ? I ran a vertical edge 800 RMK one more year to avoid the first year IQ 900 RMK. But then again now I'm on a XP so who knows...

I am currently riding an 06 IQ 755 RMK 151. Knew the issues when bought as a carry over. knew how to make it steer better than a tractor without power steering. Now it runs like a 3/4 ton Suburban with a 454 big block. Pure torque motor. 4 injectors, Looks very complicated to. I use it as the group tow truck. It is doing the job. The Vertical Edge RMK800 is much more fun to ride. $11,000 is a lot of outlay for a toy. And Polaris's batting average is at an all time low. I think I would grab up the sled if it had the older Liberty800VES in it. or the 700VES. Not so sure with the newer motors.

Hopefully Poo offers that sled with the 700 and 600 also. BUT, I bet the 7 or 6 is not offered till 2012. :( If the 7 is still around by then.

With the new improvements from the 600 RUSH this sled will fly in the corners. Artic Cat has yet to have a good sled that corners like a Polaris in the last 4 years. The 600 and 800 SnoPro's are fast but suck when trying to go in the corners fast, my friend bought one a few years ago I drove it for an Hour ride was fair, did not drive anything like my Polaris Dragon, The new rush is even one step better!

Is how a mountain sled corners supposed to be of importance? They all suck if you are comparing to a trail sled. The weight reduction of this sled is intriguing. If they have the issues with the 800 engine worked out they may have a winner.

Going back to the original post, yes you could get one with an AC engine. You would just have to pay a little more. There are places that could put this combination together for you. Use an AC CFR 800 engine. Rode with two updated Pol 800s last week. No more stumble, no more dead spot and they didn't blow up but desperately slow and underpowered for an 800. Just don't see Pol getting a handle on this rendition of the 800 engine. Being a guinea pig sucks.
