The 2012 lineup finally hit their website a few minutes ago. Not many IQ chassis models left, but no new 4 stroke or DI 2 strokes. Lots of great looking colors and use of the Rush chassis. What to order?

Where do you see the ABS? I've been looking but haven't found it.

If you dig in and build your own spring order sled, you can add things to certain models like different size risers, colored skis from the factory, choose from 4 different windshield types and sizes, studs, skid plates, storage bags and racks, wind deflectors, side panel kits, brushed aluminum bumpers etc. Man, I've never seen so many options from the factory!

People have been commenting that the Rush is going away, but we all knew they were WRONG!

I am disappointed that they don't have the 4 stroke in the Rush or an updated 4 stroke motor. I will be going back to a 2 stroke for a couple of years.

I am disappointed that there is no DI this year. Rumor is they have devolved one, but it wasn’t ready for production. Maybe Polaris figured out early new engines releases should be rock solid before shipping them out to the public for testing.

It also looks like Polaris feels the 4 strokes are a waste of time.

X'2 I am dissapointed with the line up but glad they are still in the game. If you do not embrace the rush your done. They really needed the DI now not later and a solid crossover to compete with the arctic cat crossfire which is an awesome sled. I was hoping for them to tweak the shift offerings and gear a less expensive ditch banger. Sleds are way overpriced and Polaris had a great opportunity to steal back some of the market with their niche and mountain sleds. Everyone has their own opinion, I guess I was looking for a 600 Di shift with a taller riser, better shocks, better graphics, and a great price. When you offer value at a low price you grab the entry level market which in time becomes your high dollar buyers of the future. This company makes a ton of money in their other areas of expertise but the guys have dropped the ball!

I saw the new 600 PRO-RMK 155 up at Togwotee Mtn Lodge two Sundays ago and that is one nice looking sled! Wished I could have taken for a run.

Solid Crossover??? Having just riden both the new Assault 144 and 136 Rush at the polaris demo ride I can say both sleds are the ticket! I think your in the dark, wake up! I agree with you on the price tags, I guess we just need to get used to the idea that a brand spanking new sled is going to cost well over 10 Large, and snowmobiling is not a sport for the unemployed. The shift models came with no graphics, cheap shocks, etc. to keep MSRP as low as possible, besides IQ is a thing of the past now...They still offer the 550 fan and 600 IQ as reasonable options. I guess the Rush Chassis is just too much R&D and tech. to offer at a cheap price.

I don't think they've dropped the ball at all, if everyone stopped being so brand-loyal most would admit the new polaris' ride is equal to if not better than any other in the industry.

I wouldn't expect to see anything in the way of DI or 4-stroke tech from Polaris in the near future. They've got their 800s resolved and from the sounds of things they've vastly improved oil economy and fuel to a small extent. It seems to me that Polaris recognizes most of their customers aren't into the 4 stroke market, so they're just leaving that to the other 3 manufacturers rather than try to compete in that segment of the market.

I'd love to order a new 800 Switch Pro-R, but I figure it would cost me at least 6K to upgrade from my 09 IQ Dragon Switch, and I wonder if it is really worth that much cash to get 3 years newer technology...on the other hand they're including one year at 0% intrest.

Spease- we may need to see if 4-star can do a 2 for 1 special!

Yep Poo not into 4s & Yam not into 2s that much is clear. Plenty of pro-ride to pick from but if you don't like pro-ride slim pickings. All & all looks good for 2s riders.IMO

Polaris is no longer "the way out" and now "purpose built snowmobiles"?? Not very catchy.

I always wondered exactly what they meant by that... The way out of snowmobiling?

Just kidding Polaris fans, still trying to poke some fun at a certain young man on the boards.

The new saying is more direct, but agree it lacks "pazzaz".
