all I know is I have a bud who buys 2 new doo's a yr and every one gets all available FACTORY bracing out of the BRP catalog.
Why so he wont have to hear about what a pos his toys are all the way home after a 10 ft drop in the rabbit ears parking lot and a bent tunnel at the fr suspension mount.
I know I would not buy one and not do the bracing after all the nuns and seeing 2 tunnels bent in the same place .
I like the doo if I could afford a new one every yr or so.but I cant and I know 1st hand a sealed bearing only has so many revalutions in it .
that e tech 800 is fast as heck great power plant for speed my buds 800 gad was almost as fast as my old M1000.
but like I said he buys a new pr every yr because he has also been bit buy the bearing bug more than 1 time and that is why 2 new a yr no more runed trips for him
must be nice to have bottemless sled funds

Every sled is good and bad....I have my own reasons to dislike doo or yami. But simply 2 guys I ride with (i know it doenst mean everyone that owns) that have skidoos is looking into seling or trading to polaris. I bought a '12 144 and didnt touch a thing as far as set up or "bracing) and they have thousands and thousands into making the doo's ride, feel and handle how they want and one ride on the poo and they were in love. ok done ranting lol

Reports are saying that the new skid and track make a huge difference in maneuverability. I guess we'll see how it holds up. Gotta wonder about the durability of a skid that moves sideways.

I'll admit it, I'm a Doo guy. I have a 600 E-tec Renegade that I love for the trails. I cannot get comfortable with it in the powder. Therefore, I made a conscious choice to keep my REV Summit until I had to buy an XP or something else came along. I rode a 800 e-tec Summit and loved the motor but I could not get comfortable after days on it. Yes, days. I rode a PRO RMK Polaris and they are nice. If positive reports keep coming on the XM Summit, I will for sure be spring breaking one.

I'm seeing lots of good things from the tests people are running so far. Pay attention to 1:42 and 3:30 on the video below. The Tmotion suspension may have just raised the bar. This is definately going to be one of the most nimble summits yet. Couple that with the 163 ponies in the Etech will make this an all around great machine!
