Not much new here. I was expecting a new platform. There are a few tweeks here and there, but nothing major. Am I missing something?

Did you see the T-suspension? Im very skeptical of it, but we shall see.

Yes I did. I'm not sure what to think of it, but I think they need that to compensate for the wider side panels. I've read on another site where Ski Doo guys were saying with the new side panels it will be even harder to sidehill, but I have to admit, I don't know a lot about mountain riding. I was thinking they were coming with a new trail platform.

You guys need to dig a little deeper. There is a new platform for the Summit models called the XM. It has a T-motion rear skid with a flex track on the outer 2 inches. Both are aimed at improving sidehilling performance.

i think they are ashamed they cant compete with Pro RMK :)

Tons worse than that is said on here by people loyal to all brands. It's undeniable the Pro RMK is dominating that segment again, and with the changes made for 2013, should only increase that lead.

I consider a new platform to be when Ski Doo went to the current chassis, Cat's 2012 model and the Pro/Rush. A new suspension and track does not make a new platform!

Yeah looks like just new plastic for the trail sleds. They are probably just gearing up for something huge next year....? Maybe a engine under rider platform? lay flat 4s turbo? lol I hope not...

Worst so far was Yamaha put 1.75 track & tuner skis on Nytro XTX & called it new 2013sled early release. LOL Total joke but more to come in March. Sure......... I think all OEMs are sitting on a bunch of non currents again with AC the exception.

I'll reserve further judgement until I see one in person. They have addressed a number of issues that Doo riders have been complaining about for a long time, which is a good thing. Whether they work, only time will tell as ride reports come in. As for the ProRMK, nice platform. Rode one in December with a Silber pump gas turbo and it was very impressive.

Lots of little changes that will add up to a whole different sled?

Here is what pro rider Dan Treadway said (taken from SkiDoo Mountain Facebook page):
"I wasn't very excited to see no big changes for 2013. But after riding it today I was blown away by how all the small changes. Built a totally different sled that out performed anything I've riden. You're going to love the new ride."

HUH?? Not sure what your looking at Indy, it looks like the same lights they've been running since '08 from what I see. More like Cat's 012 lights was a copy "cat".

Surprised nobody's mentioned the IDENTICAL cat headlight.

I've never heard of Dan Treadway but it looks like he rides a Ski Doo now, so you would expect nothing less.

True. His words should be taken with a grain of salt, but that doesn't necessarily mean he is lying.

He's a pro skier and snowmobiler. Been in some of the Slednecks movies. Usually riding ridiculously deep snow.

Time will tell along with sales results! You gotta love the new stuff coming out every year though. I always keep thinking "what can they do next, there isn't much more they can do?" But every year there are new things to keep us talking, and of course, buying!

You must have been quick on the "edit post" as the original post I got from you on my phone said "Good point, his words should be taken with a grain of salt. He is paid to say good things." :)

especially when you could order that track on the 09 model. I did ride the 2013 sled and there are 2 at Pats now. We rode em in the back country and that sled is a totally different machine with that track on it. I liked it so much I would buy one but cannot afford one now. I would struggle in the deep because of the weight of the sled but man is it nice to have such a reliable sled I don't have to worry about blowing up if it's to cold or gas is not perfect, nice to have the reverse and e start
