And who says that this is the final fix? Boy there's lots of miles on these new sleds aren't there? (stirring the pot)

Haha, good question, not sure, hopefully the owners with the new clutches have miles and miles of smiles after the update!

Polaris doesn’t own Team. Cat has been getting some of their side by side Transmissions from Team as well

BAGLEY, Minn., and TALENT Oregon, July 7, 2014 — TEAM Industries a market leader in drive train technology and Brammo, Inc. a leading electric vehicle technology company have entered into a strategic partnership. As part of this partnership TEAM Industries will become an investor in Brammo Inc., TEAM Industries will also work in partnership with Brammo to design and develop world class electric vehicle drivetrains for the next generation of electric vehicles.

now go look in to primary investor in Brammo tangled web out there

TEAM and Polaris have been a great combo for many years. I haven't heard any bad reports or recalls for the polaris secondaries.
Maybe Cat should have left it up to TEAM alone to design their new drive system.

From April 2015 Snowgoer mag article about the new cat cvt;

There's been a big change at Arctic Cat in the past few years, said Brad Darling, the co. snowmobile div. v-president and GM, during the 2016 Arctic Cat media sneak peak in January. Quality of the company's sleds has improved over the past 2 years and machines will be even better in 2016, he said. " We're listening to you guys, our customers, our dealers and perfecting a lot of things on our 2016 sleds," Darling said. "We want to make sure we get our stuff right before we send it out"

In the name of improving durability and performance, Arctic Cat teamed up with TEAM industries to develop the rapid response CVT system that consists of a new primary and secondary clutch and a new jackshaft for that driven pulley. All models powered by 6000 through 9000 Series engines will have the Rapid Response CVT system, meaning ZR, XF and M models as well as Panteras.

If Ezra is correct about Polaris owning Team what was Artic Cat thinking when they let Team/Polaris design their CVT’s and Transmissions. Somebody should have let Cat know about that.

Haters gonna hate, TEAM clutch is a good set up, it's a calibration issue, TEAM will be on MOST of the 2016 cat's line up and only the 7000 series is getting the update.

Fascinating, please tell us more about this conversation the two of you had. What did you chat about the rest of the call. :cool:
Just sharing horror stories about prev sleds and found common interest. Don't own one. Touchy people around here - back to HCS. BTW - I love Cats, doesn't everybody, given they've been no. 1 in sales for how many years running?

Show proof to your claim Cat is number 1 in sales. Cut the bs or show stats.

LOL, touchy no. I just sincerely wonder what the sheeple talk about in their own environment. ;) Hows your Camry working out for you? Since market sales is so important to you, you must own one of those too. :cool:

Actually through the years the Cat roller secondary has not been a bad clutch. Team stuff is good stuff though no matter who owns them.

Chad,
I snow checked a Pantera 7000 LTD locally but only got it a few weeks ago. When I asked about this, I was told it was only the early builds and mines OK. Can you verify this was only for early builds? Thanks.

I called my dealer about mine and they said mine was okay. If there is an issue, they will contact you. Mine was not an early build.
