Ok Da Bears record is good but really haven’t beaten top 10 teams. Howard has been disappointing as a closer and Nagy knew something we didn’t when they were shopping Howard for trade bait. Imo Ryan Nall should be activated for closing duty a big back that can bang and had a couple of breakaway runs in preseason. Bears are pretty good at everything but closing and kicking field goals. I do think Parkey will get straightened out but no history as a cold weather kicker. Switching gears RB Jones looked very good for the Pack a slasher with excellent speed. Jones will make life much easier for Rogers and the offense so goods things possibly for the Pack.

would of still like to see the Packers give Jones the ball more than 15 times. We ran the ball 18 times compared to 28 passes all the while having a 7-14 point lead and averaging a ridiculous 11+ ypg. avg. Jones is a home run threat everytime he touches the rock. This sole reason going forward is why McCarthy will be fired. How he can't subscribe and commit to Jones 25 times a game with the numbers he's averaging is grounds for termination.

I'll reserve judgement on the Bears till they play a team over .500
Only one they did they lost.

Of course you will. U thought bears were gona be like 5 win team and mitch was mediocre at best. So why give them credit? Cause you would rather be right.

All the while you thought packers would be an unstoppable force. Do I remember the best offense and defense in league get thrown around. Lol

If you cant see the bears are a good all around team. Your a hater, plain and simple. I'm not saying they are great or top 5 team in league but they are not fake. They have along way to go. But no doubt can play with anyone.

Please timo stop trying to be right....and this time just get it right.

Don't get triggered Mo.
The Packers aren't what I thought they would be,,, you never been wrong??
I nailed the Bears record to a T last year,,, this year didn't know they has such an easy schedule.
I'm not right to say I'll hold judgement when they've beat the 4 worst teams in the league? Bills, Jets, Bucs, Cards. Decent win vs Seahawks.
They lost to the Dolphins and Pats,, only teams over .500,,,, and the Dolphins aren't any good.
So while I've definitely seen progress ( really had no where to go but up ) from them ,,,, Like Denny said,,, not gonna crown their a$$.

Bears can only play who is on their schedule. And Miami in Miami when 100 degrees and humid is a totally different team than in frozen tundra. That game was given away many different ways. Bears losses could have also been wins.

Other than that the bears destroyed the teams they should have.

I have def been wrong many times. But would rather admit I'm wrong.

Bears are way better than you or anyone here thought they were gona be.

A win this week vs Minnesota and bears are best team in division. This week they have a chance to make statement. Mitch continues to grow and play like he has been well then we will be talking playoff run. The D is there. Offensive weapons are there. Mitch continues to grow watch out...

Couldn't agree more with whitedust on Ryan Nall!!! Really liked him when he was previously played. He can produce big in both bulldozing muscle, and breaking out. I am one who believes there is still a place in pro football for big backs. Riggins, Csonka, and Earl Campbell, eh??? Nall needs to be used to get to where he can be!!! Another facet to add to the Bear offense. Also with the Packs Jones!!! He looks to be a very talented back. And he also needs to be used more to get to where he can be. I'm hopefully we get the running game back!!! I'm so, so thankful that Montgomery is history!!!!!!!!!!! Bad history, he was for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have to go with the Bears over the Queens Sunday night for two reasons. The Vikings always make fools of themselves in prime time. The Vikings suck on natural turf.

So the best a 2 evils is to root for the qweens this week but before that matters at all the Pack is flying into Seattle on a short week of rest for another must win.

Worst of the scheduling is Bears /Vikings Sunday then Bears at Detroit early TG game UGH!

Mack is insane,,, and Gruden is an imbecile. He's a modern day LT.
I could watch him rush the QB all day,,,, drafting the Bears D in like the 14 round was the best pick of my fantasy draft,, unfortunately.
They're pretty much guaranteed double digit points every week.

Finally giving the bears or a bear some credit.

gruden made a dumb move but wouldnt we both love to be in his shoes with a 100 million dollar deal.......

cant play the bill, jets and cards every week guys.
tho u do have the giants coming up to push around.

The schedule makers did the Packers no favors this year,,, back to back Rams, Pats. Then they flex this past sunday game to afternoon,,, knowing all along they have to make a trip on to Seattle to play on thursday. So basically the Pack has maybe 3 days to prepare. But like that gorilla Goddell like's to say,,, the NFL is all about player safety. Riiiiigggghttt,,,,
Thanks.

Packer fans need to face reality....and it hurts me to say this like you wouldn't believe.....CHI is ascending, and GB has plateaued with that coach.
CHI is better than GB right now - both sides of the ball. I've watched their offensive execution long enough now to make that statement. They destroyed Detroit last weekend.

read this little tidbit, remeber comparing them to rams and was laughed at.....

Before the season, there were many who speculated that the Chicago Bears could be this year's version of the 2017 Los Angeles Rams, which meant a young team with a second-year quarterback and a first-year head coach that could take a major step forward.

I didn't believe that to be true.

I was wrong.

The Bears are a lot like the 2017 Rams. First-year coach Matt Nagy has brought an innovative, creative offensive system to the team, much like Sean McVay did for the Rams.

Quarterback Mitch Trubisky has taken a major step forward in his second season, much like Jared Goff did for the Rams.

Oh, and the Bears are winning – just like the Rams. At 6-3, the Bears are in first place in the NFC North and up to No. 8 in my Power Rankings this week. They are not only impressing on offense, but the defense is also playing well.

The Bears haven't exactly defeated the league's elite to get their six victories, but they are winning games. We will know a lot more about the Bears in the next 10 days. They play a tough home game for first place against the Vikings Sunday, and then have a short turnaround to play the Lions on the road Thanksgiving Day.

The Bears blew out the Lions this past Sunday, but that's a lot tougher game being on the road that day.

So check back in 10 days. We will truly know if the Bears are this year's version of the 2017 Rams.

It looks like it's heading in that direction – something I didn't see happening.

Let's call it what it is...a good season thru 9 weeks. Not great. Great season would have been not losing to GB and Miami.
Plenty of ball left to played before one starts crowing the Bears anything.

Until the Bears can beat GB or Minny (which they haven't this year...yet) then there's really nothing to talk about...but it does make the "what if" game fun!
