Bears have a favorable schedule coming up and control their own destiny. This week vs Lions is a big divisional game which leads into another big divisional game against the Vikes. The Bears can sweep the Lions but their second game with the Lions, on Thanksgiving day, will be coming off the Vikes and a flexed game Sunday night....tough matchup. I think they can win 5 of the next 8. That puts them at 10-6, a very impressive season for a growing team. They should get Mack and Robinson back soon.
Pack, man what can you say about the Pack....another sprint to the end of the season. They just do not have the talent or the coaching. It looks as if they are going to gear up for one final run with Rodgers but that can take a couple years to develop. Father time has never lost asn the Rodgers of past cannot be guaranteed for the future. I will say, if the Pack cannot get Rodgers more talent and win another SB it could be one of the worst waste of talent in along time...Rodgers deserves better from the organization.
Mixed bag on the Vikes. Not nearly as good as expected but still getting the job done. They remain a threat in any game but I am not as confident as I was at the beginning of the season. I do think the Bears can split the 2 matchups with the Vikes and excited to see them play against each other.
Overall, the NFC north isn't as powerful as I once thought. Obviously the Rams and the Saints are significantly better than the rest but come playoff time its a one game series!
