Bears have a favorable schedule coming up and control their own destiny. This week vs Lions is a big divisional game which leads into another big divisional game against the Vikes. The Bears can sweep the Lions but their second game with the Lions, on Thanksgiving day, will be coming off the Vikes and a flexed game Sunday night....tough matchup. I think they can win 5 of the next 8. That puts them at 10-6, a very impressive season for a growing team. They should get Mack and Robinson back soon.

Pack, man what can you say about the Pack....another sprint to the end of the season. They just do not have the talent or the coaching. It looks as if they are going to gear up for one final run with Rodgers but that can take a couple years to develop. Father time has never lost asn the Rodgers of past cannot be guaranteed for the future. I will say, if the Pack cannot get Rodgers more talent and win another SB it could be one of the worst waste of talent in along time...Rodgers deserves better from the organization.

Mixed bag on the Vikes. Not nearly as good as expected but still getting the job done. They remain a threat in any game but I am not as confident as I was at the beginning of the season. I do think the Bears can split the 2 matchups with the Vikes and excited to see them play against each other.

Overall, the NFC north isn't as powerful as I once thought. Obviously the Rams and the Saints are significantly better than the rest but come playoff time its a one game series!

Bears seem to have a very opportunistic, and talented defense. This, gives them the opportunity to turn any bad day into a win. Also gives time for offense to gel, and develop.

Being a Vikings fan, they are improving, as long as they can stop the turn overs.

The D has come back into form, and the O is good enough to score on anyone, without turn overs.

I'm starting to drink the cool-aid again..... We'll see how that goes.

This might not be the Packers year to dominate the NFL Norski div. as they have for the past 20+ years or so , but to you Bears, Vikes and Lions fans, please just STFU about the Packers being a disappointment ....you'd all be happy to give your left nut, and possibly your boyfriends as well, to have the same success for your teams.

For me I enjoy the pack due to Rogers skills but always a Bear fan. The Bears are all about their GM Pace has had draft disasters like Kevin White but some good players in later rounds like Cohen and Howard. Pace made some great FA signings too give Trubisky a bunch of offensive options. The Pack needs to do the same for Rogers and they will be back but in transition this year

Geez snobuilder....let the Lions, Vikes and Bears fans have their fun...you can't possibly be that upset with it. I root for Rodgers also and want to see him win at least one more SB. But, with having Hall of Fame QB's since 1992 the Pack need more than 2 SB wins and I hope they get it. The Pack might be getting passed up as the league leaders, for this year maybe as their decisions are catching up with em. I want the NFC North to be a super competitive division, it makes it more fun, unless your talking about the Lions...I don't want them to win :).

Hey, hey, now that's more like it!!! The old original snobuilder is back!!! I worried the old snobuilder had lapsed, or perhaps mellowed out, seeing how he started this Bear thread to begin with???

Yup 2 of the most talented QBs ever to play, and currently the best QB in the game and still cant win, organization isnt ran too well. Could put rodgers on any roster in the league and automatically in playoffs. put him on a good roster and SB favorites......on packers they are mediocre at best. Every year that goes by shaaron is a year older and another year gone wayside. He has to be sick when he looks back at what coulda been.....

The SB is just some glitz and glamour BS that the hollywood leftists show up for. Beating the snot out of a division rival for the majority of 26+ odd years in a row is priceless.

Similar to Michigan vs Ohio State rivalry, I don't care about the Super Bowl if we lose to the Bears, Lions and Vikings.

Sprinkle in a couple SB wins is a bonus too,,,,

Its all about the SB, a "participant ribbon" isn't good enough. That's why they play the game. You're gonna win some and lose some games on the way, I don't care who its to. Get in the playoffs, get to the SB and be the team that everyone remembers the next year. Of course your not gonna win every year which is where the Pack have been....in success limbo....good, just not good enough. I hope they can get 1 or 2 more SB's with Rodgers. Hey, it was better being a Packer than a Bears fan no doubt.

Trubisky really growing as a QB. Really happy with the direction of DA bears. Big one next Sunday night. Cody parkey hit the upright 4 times....what are the odds...

Other than that lions were completely dominated in this one. Go bears.

Bear 2nd half wasn't real pretty, but a win is a win, especially divisional wins!!! Many things starting to come together, and more so as the season progresses. It looks like Trubisky gaining poise more and more every week, and getting comfortable at it. Defense once again awesome, Mack is back!!! This team is far better now, at this point of the season, than I ever expected them to be. Yah, I know it was only the Lions. Once again I'll wait on other peeps assessments. Looking good!!!
