we had ice this am and will tonight and tomorrow night. 2 more days with clouds and freezing at night, we'll be fine.

This warm weather has only put a dent in the snow depth up here. It's hard to believe, but Saturday was the highest snow depth of the season for Keweenaw County. John's Woods Cam is currently just under the 48 inch mark, and the Keweenaw Snow Report is listing a measured snow depth of 50" for today. I honestly think you could plan on riding up here anytime in the next couple weeks and be fine as far as "snow depth."
However, I see the NWS has bumped up the chance of rain to 70% for Saturday afternoon. It really comes down to weather conditions you want to ride in as they are happening - the snow will be there.

If there are guys coming that are not staying at the Town Hall and want to park at Pat's Yamaha we do have permission to do so. Probably will be better if we try an do that as my lot will be wet and soft and may not have enough parking if lots of guys show up. I'll meet the guys staying at my place a little before 9 and than shoot over to Pats and we can head out from there. So, those staying at my place, lets try an be ready a little before 9 so we can try an be at Pat's by 9. I have a plan that I believe you guys are really going to like. I will have some jumbo all beef hot dogs along with the buns and condiments. Bring your drinks and anything else you may want. We'll start a fire and cook out in da bush. I hope we can complete the route we have planned cause we will have the snow and time. It's gonna be a good time.

we took a big hit with warm, sunny and windy conditions today. Should still be fine but may need to adjust where we start off at. Stay tuned! If people leave for the UP before you see update you can call or text me at 906-390-0410

Just put the final item in place at work so I know for sure I'm heading up during the day on Friday so I'll be there tomorrow night around 7:00. Hope things hold, but like I said before, even if the riding is marginal, the company will make up for it! Looking forward to a couple night of fun in the UP. I'll call you when I'm close Lenny

Well, over the last few hours seems like the NWS has made a change towards more of a snow component, especially on the Keweenaw Peninsula. Hopefully that extends south to Greenland tomorrow, cuz riding in rain sucks!
