well the spring ride turned out to be a very good one. We had snow and no rain, maybe a few drops here and there, but no accumulation so to speak. 15 guys showed up to ride. One had sled problem and was up here on Thursday so he went home today and missed the ride. Another guy headed up north for a few hr ride and went home to take care of some family stuff. No major mishaps so to speak. Packerlandrider did have a decent impact and tweaked the front end, I dented an a-arm and not sure of the rest of the guys. We did have mashed potato snow but it is good for climbing, not so good turning downhill. Here's a few pics of the ride today!

Yeah, not exactly how I envisioned my season ending. The thought of "maybe last chance to do some climbing until December" turned into "last chance to break something until December." Oh well, that's snowmobiling for ya. I once again had a great time with everybody - just a great group of guys to spend the day with. It was very enjoyable watching those with much better skills than myself show off and have fun.

A huge thanks to Lenny for once again putting in the time and resources into hosting and organizing the ride. It is a great opportunity to use John Dee's site to gather an entire group of people who normally wouldn't connect.

Also, a big shout out to Lenny, Greg, and Bob for their accommodating leadership and navigation. They really tried to find areas for everyone to ride while still enjoying themselves.

I will post pictures shortly.

Great pics packerlandrider! Too bad with the damage on the sled. On the upside at least it was at the very end of the day and you did get some climbing done! Too bad we didn't catch Bob's dismount on video! LOL. I am hoping others have some more pics as I really didn't get much. I stole a few of these from Bobs video clips.

Just stopped and talked to Lenny for a few hours. He gave me a play by play on these pictures. Sounds like I missed a great time.
