Nice looking truck Indy you got a real good deal on it, I have a 1988 same body style reg cab long box 4x4 with only 83k on it I never drive it but when I do everyone want's to buy it, that's the best looking body style IMO. Have fun with it.

It's a pretty clean truck all around. It has a few small mechanical issues but still driveable. Most of it the average Joe wouldn't replace but I am. With the extra $ left over I might be buying an 07 IQ 600 carbed with 2200 miles on it. I'm buying my old exhaust back, my 265 Discoverer ATR's with 8k miles on them, and my newer GMC rims for $260. Once I know its a sound truck mechanically, I'll be getting smoked Euro taillights, smoked headlights with 6 or 8000K HIDS, an Altec firestrip, and tinting the front windows windows somewhere in the mid 20s. I got to put my toolbox on this truck yet too... Things I gotta replace are the sway bar/bushings/end links, CV boot but im going to replace the whole shaft since it's only $70 versus $20 for the boot, fuel sending unit and im going to do the pump since im there, and it needs a coolant flush. Those are the top priorities. A few other things I'm replacing because I want to is exterior door handles due to the normal minor cracks in them that happens to all these trucks, the hinge pin bushings & springs, and thats it for now really. I'd like to replace the rear end fluid since it has LSD unlike my old truck soon and put an aluminum radiated Trick Flow diff cover on it. It rides so smooth, the shocks and leaf springs are original but like new. Smoothest one I've ridden in too. It has the 8.6" 10 bolt rear end and a steel drive shaft because its the 99 classic along with the ceiling compartments and the mirror with direction thingy on it. It's got the gray interior and bucket seats 2 things i really wanted along with the 3.73 and LSD. It even came with an engine block heater from the factory lol.

Don't get those Euro lights or the HIDs or I'll start calling you ghetto Indy.

I had them on my old truck LOL Try them, $35 xentec kit from amazon.com best money spent you can see EVERYTHING, and the person heading the other way REALLY LOVES them!

Figured I would show some updated pics. So far, I've done:
-NBS GMC Rims w/265/75 Cooper Discoverer ATRS
-Tool Box
-20% tint on front windows
-Smoked 3rd brake light
-Smoked Euro Taillights
-Smoked Headlights, foglights, and corner lights
-6000k HIDS
-2.25" Dual exhaust @ 45s with new Magnaflow 3"x18" slant cut tips
-new radiator
-new cv axle
-new sway bar & bushings
-new exterior & interior door handles
-New door speakers
-New door hinge pins, bushings, and springs
-rampage firestrip with reverse function
-window visors
-Blue LED light strips by feet
-super duper GMC floor mats

Bringing me to $3500 into a $5000 truck imo

Check the engine block heater as they all leak with time on GMs. Took mine off never needed it for northern WI or UPMI.

I'll bite!

1. Do you carry tools in your toolbox?
2. Do you live in Europe?
3. What flavor wood do you use to smoke your lights?
4. 6000 HID headlights in a pickup is ghetto
5. Is the purpose of the LED feet strips to help your grandmother get in and out of the truck at night?
