I agree Lenny, JJ looked very uncomfortable riding that thing but Jr looked nice and comfortable. Did you notice how JJ had to try and see the road ahead? You would think they would tell JJ to tone down the fenheimer just a bit as I could only hear beeping when he talks. Who does that impress?

While I am a Jr. fan, I've ALWAYS been a fan of Jesse and no matter what, there is no denying that Jesse is a better bike builder, period.

Always been a fan of jesse also and he's forsure a better builder. JR builds great bikes but why did he do a theme bike, it's the same thing he always builds and what is that thing SR built???? Thought it was supposed to be a chopper. Also I liked when Jesse said "I build bikes with a bike theme".

JJ is probably the most capable builder of the 3 and can do the most fab,,,design wise, depends on how you look at it. I don't claim that Sr and JR's "theme" approach sets the standard for bike building. That part of JJ design is something no one can take away from him and he is on the money. I think Jr and Sr have evolved into theme bike and earlier build were more typical of the simple chopper build. It's kinda like food, everybody likes a different flavor. All 3 are great builders and JJ could probably do the entire bike given the time, Jr second and Sr third. Now Jrs's design are way over the top and if he was capable, which he may be but just not excelling lie JJ, than he could be on top

Jessie James will make them look like the true bolt on posers they are. Can you immagine what a tv ad will cost during the shows 2 day run. I hope the rules are that they must fabricate from scratch and they are given a decent amount of time to do so. I bet it will be a whatever you have in the shop bolt on fest only to give the OCC Cry baby and Pauly a fighting chance. Bring in Arlen Ness to round things out and I will pay money to watch it then. Nubs does a lot to make Paul jrs. bikes look cool. They will have to top Paul jrs. master piece the "Black widow Bike" to hold my attention and to make it a real contest. I think the contest will be rigged in OCC's favor.

Wrong again! Even 2 out of the 3 experts picked Paul Jr! I would like to see the final voting total. JJ's bike wasn't anything special, just a normal chopper. The best man won, no doubt about it.

JJ had a cool bike that is a rider, JR had a great design but not so much a rider. It made a good show but they should have focused more on some rules for the build. JJ talked a bunch of crap and Jr put him in his place saying he's all talk. I'd love to see those 2 fight it out, would have made a better show. Sr sat there with his mouth shut, I think he was scared.

Wrong again?????? Jesse built a real bike. Jr.built a pretty theme bike. What made those guys experts?? It is all Television and selling sizzle. Paul Jr. does do nice work except he doesn't do all the work. JJ does with time permitting. You have to admit, the OCC including Pauly are cry babies and are not really welcome in the biker world. They build corporate bling that enhances current products and trends. Jesse will not do that.

Nice to see Pauly win to advance his carreer. The rules should of been a bit stricter. Sr. did not even build a bike, what was that all about? JJ built an actual bike on a bike theme. I can take a sled and bolt on all the bling, but does it make a better sled? Or just a gussied up sled. Same with anything, houses, cars, bikes, boats, etc. bolt on crap out of a catalog does not make it an original. The rules should have been more defined. It was all about selling ad space and selling sizzle. Jesse lowered himself to that atmosphere and I think he was caught off guard thinking they were there to build a bike. Lets see Paul jr. or Sr. make a gas tank or fenders or frame all on there own.

I am old school.

I would have taken Jessee's bike over Jr.'s any day. I guess OCC has a place in the industry but they don't really make bikes any more. They make "art" and "decorations." There is a difference. If you want to spend 100k for a show piece for a corporate lobby, then fine. If you want to ride it to Sturgis every year, then that is something entirely different. It is all BS for TV anyway. Real bikes are made in garages by real people. Unless of course you get off on bragging about how much you over paid for your "work of art", lol. Then you are just a poser.

I would take Jesses bike hands down but im a rider and I think that should have been part of the deal...Build your bike...plan on riding it 500 miles into Vegas and then the vote. Just like the old build off's were...Ive built and ridden many choppers and 500 miles on a rigid/long fork is not the easiest thing to do.

yea, but on this bike JJ brought help in because he couldn't finish. There's plenty if things on JJ bike he didn't build. Plus JJ is an arrogant jerk. He may be the most capable single guy of the 3 but his attitude sucks. JJ spewed his crap and Jr told him he was all talk. Jr stood up to JJ and JJ backed down,,,,best part of the show. Sr mentioned if JJ brought it in his face there would be a problem but he just sat there. Think about it like this, if you were to contact any of the 3 to build a bike for everyday use could they do it? Of course they could and do. Jr and Sr have evolved into corporate bling but that is a trend and there right there capitalizing on it, cant blame a guy for making a living,,,oh wait,,,OWS says you can . Sr had been building choppers as long as JJ is alive practically. I think if I were to contract a bike from any of the 3 I could get what I wanted and ride it every day. If the most important factor to me was strictly hand built I would look at JJ to do that. I believe Jr is Sr could build frame if they wanted to but the time factor is always there on a tv show, they get a week. JJ tried it and failed hence he brought in a team. Chip Foose is building a bike now. Would we say since he is a car builder we would be a sell out to contract a ride from him or could he possible build a better bike than JJ, Jr, Sr,,,,,who knows.

What I find interesting is how all the emphasis is on building or "fabricating" as some like to call it. I understand that metal working is a skill and thus it takes skill to build these bikes. But most or even all of those skills can be taught. It just takes some folks longer to reach a certain level.

Design is a talent that is very hard to teach. In fact, I would say that pure artistic design can't be taught. It is a skill that someone posses or not.

I can build just about anything out of wood- given enough time and the proper tools. Ask to me to design from scratch some of the works of furniture I see designed by others and there is no way. Not in my lifetime anyway. When I sit down to design something, I am almost always borrowing from works I have seen already and combining concepts to come up with my own "design".

anyone else have a problem voting during the show last night?..I went to vote from my I-phone and it came back saying I had already voted...kinda strange..

It is fun reading the comments about the show and builds. I agree that there should have been some rules to define what the builds should result in. We need to remember that it was a made for TV special - it got people to watch! My wife and I both predicted the finish before the show started - think about who is doing the voting. Jr is the sentimental favorite to all the women since his dad is mean to him. Sr is out because he is mean to Jr. JJ is out because of all the mean things that he did in his relationship to Sandra Bullock, etc. I'm sure a lot of people voted the way they did because of this.

Near the end of the show, Jr and Sr hugged - awwwww :). JJ came out and challenged them to ride their bikes now - that JJ's bike would go the fastest and the farthest. JJ called them both out and said "they don't ride bikes - not those bikes." JJ called out Jr and said that Jr's bike only has a 3/4 gallon gas tank and asked "what's your radius - 10 miles?" Jr responded that his bike has a full 1 gallon tank that could travel 20 miles! Wow!!

All 3 can create/build/assemble bikes, but on this show only JJ built a bike that you can get on and ride for more than a few miles. But without any rules/criteria to follow, it was an apples to oranges comparison. Real riders know which bike was the winner - made to ride and not just display somewhere.

I can't believe I was sucked in and watched all 3 hours of it, but I wanted to see what JJ would build.
