If you take into accoutnt the debt that they took on with the new building, employees, machenery, and other costs, OCC's income may not cover their debt. This would make the company worth nothing to its owner. If Paul Jr. was not related, he would have been fired years ago for some of the things he pulled. (Showing up late constantly, being on the phone constantly, not showing up at all)
As much fun as he was to watch on the show, Mikey was really earning a good paycheck for doing nothing bennifical to the buisness other than being Paul's son. He showed no interest in building bikes or learning anthing to do with the buisness. And on the rare occasions he did, it was brief and he went into the office to take a nap afterwards. If you saw his house in earlier shows, he was living a pretty good life. Now he has no paycheck from his dad and had to move into a smaller house. I wonder if he is rethinking his decisions now.
The scene at the radio station in the first episode spoke volumes. Paul Sr. called in to see how the boys where doing and got attacked by Paul Jr.
