Thanks for all the input. I have my answer and really enjoyed the debate!

Personally, I use Amsoil for my muffler bearings, but that's a whole 'nother debate...

If your only putting in a few ounces, sure why not straight? But if it's more than a small amount or a complete change, go 50/50 or 60/40.

One thing to keep in mind with aluminum engines, use distilled water and silicate-free antifreeze.

Sea Foam ? Isn`t that stuff made by a Columbian drug lord or something. I only use Stabil. Its made in America by good old American Illegals.

I use Stabil also. Acording to the labels stabil just stabilizes gas, Sea Foam on the other hand has majical powers to fix everything. At $8.99 a can it better. If it makes my lawn mower idle a little less rough than I will be happy.

I went out to the garage and got the can. Well, It states "Manufactured for Sea Foam Sales Company Eden Praire MN." on the can. "Since 1942". No mention of who makes the stuff actually. You would think if it is made here since 1942 it would most certainly say made in the USA somewhere on the can. went to the web site www.seafoamsales.com read all of that and got a phone number. So I called the Company and the lady at corporate says it is made in by a source in Illinois. I am guessing these guys make the stuff for them http://www.marvelmysteryoil.com/index.php/site/about/

I looked at the google map and I am not even sure there is a office park there I thought that was more residential I will be driving buy there one of these days this week and have the address in my mind could it be that sea foam is a home based biz?if not no more than a small office building or residence converted to commercial.ok I take that back just looked the arrow is deceiving it is the small office park behind super America still smaller than I would have thought.
