sounds like your lawer doesn't want you to find the truth.they are crooked too.in my findings they do everything possible to keep the parties fighting as long as they can to make top dollar.i don't mean to piss off any lawyers on here but those are my personal observations from past dealings.also remember the creed of the profesional world.if you went to college and took a psociology class you know what i'm talking about

good luck trying to sue a lawyer! same reason a rattlesnake wont bite a attorney, professional courtesy!! also only nice people snowmobile so you wont find any on this site! good luck! file a greiveance with states attorney responsability board if you think you have merit! lots of paperwork but will tie lawyer up answering questions and maybe get a penalty!

I think as stated above...it depends on how the judge ruled and what was granted. You can ask for the judge for a judgement so the loser has to pay but he says yea or nay.

An holy smokes....someone is will to pay that much money over a dock, I would be broke...how does an average guy pay that?? I could see if you have money coming out both ends...

If you have a land dispute issue- atleast in Illinois that is what your title company is for. That is what title insurance is for-use it. We had a problem with a lot line -surveyor came out and resurveyed -dispute with neighbor was over as to what is mine and what was his. I thanked him for the fence he installed on my property. Then I took it down.

Just to add, this reminds me of my divorce.

When I moved out, I wanted some rugs to go in what was "our" cabin at the time, and she, the now ex, would not talk to me. I had to ask my lawyer to contact her lawyer to contact her, who then relayed back through her lawyer to my lawyer to me, that she would give me 5 rugs.

Needless to say, I could have BOUGHT BRAND NEW GOLD LINED rugs for what those phone calls cost.

I never asked for any "stuff" again. I just went and took it.
