Put my new seat on yesterday. Still sitting on the jack, just waiting for the salt to get washed off the roads.

I saw several on Saturday in the Western Burbs of Chicago. We actually almost hit 50 degrees! One guy only had on a light jacket. He had to be pretty chilly!

Thought real hard about it yesterday,... with temps in the low 50's.
but like bru,....waiting for the salt,...AND most of those tiny pea gravel
to be washed from the roads.
From past experiences,....
I've seen many friends "go down" because they haven't got their
"motorcycle faculty's" about them yet in early spring.
Makes for good insurance claims though.

Dang! Now I've got the bug again,.... Maybe I should wax it!

100 miles on the Harley here yesterday in Central Wisconsin. Trails were beautiful:). As Big Vin said, need to get your bike senses about you-lots of sand in the corners yet, so you really have to watch. This is the earliest I've had the bike out.

X3 - Get the salt and sand washed off the road and I'll be good to go.

Maybe I should wax it again...

I thought about it but the ol Road Glide would need a ski to get out of the driveway...Did fire it up though. Im ready to ride but I can wait a few more weeks...still plenty of good sled ridding in the woods.

I stopped at a local bar last saturday and parked my sled behind a 1995 harley soft tail , I think thats is what he said it was , kinda felt like a model with all the people taking pics of the 2 of us

Bikes out everywhere today. Mine is in storage down a long muddy road. Wifes Kawasaki Vulcan is in the garage. I may take it for a spin. Suppose to be mid 50's tomorrow. Very, very little sand on roads here. The road commision didn't have money for it and such little amount of snow to dump it on.
