Guy I ride with got a new 16 Cat 600 this year with the e-pump. He didn't have to add oil to that either. We took it on a trip and it used quite a bit at first and then not as much after that. Same deal you are describing.

I like that automatic adjustability, in fact I expect it in a 2017 injected model.
I haven't put injector oil directly into the tank since I had a 600 carb in 2009.

PolarisDan-Just curious, what settings are you running on yours? What is your weight? I just picked up a 16 800 Pro S last weekend haven't dialed it in yet to my weight or anything so was just curious. Thanks

Do not try to water skip on an Axys. The bulkhead leaks water on the clutches and pretty much stalls out when the belt gets wet. That happened on 2-2015's and 1 2016 800's. Nobody sunk, but it scares the heck out you when it happens.

not a bad idea even if the pump adds oil for break in .a few 850s popped this yr because of a pinched line . that would have saves some guy 3 weeks or more of down time . one of the many reasons u add oil for break in is so u can make sure pump is actually pumping oil .

i run the fronts hard and the rear middle..im 180ish..and the under hard..and it stays down on the 16..the 17 same settings left ski pulls up a little..so have to readjust somewhere

i have never dialed the big screw either..its at factory..but i think that will push pressure forward if tightend

I am 250 w/o gear so I was curious as to how some have them set up. I was thinking my settings will be on the firm side all the way around. I don't have a book yet and haven't looked online but I am curious to see what the rear shock should be set for my weight. Thanks
