Bad behavior

Boy, the local chatter is very active for so early in the season. A picture of a Minnesota truck (plate 621 HMV, for intentional embarrassment) parked yesterday behind a No Tresspassing and No Snowmobile sign. A couple of lively Facebook threads citing quite a few examples of disrespect.....and from some of the nicest people I know.

Owner plowed them in then watched them dig out with their hands, locals wanting video to cherish.

I used to spend a fair amount of time defending the sport locally because of a few bad apples. Call each other out...you do not have the right to tresspass or violate local laws....when you do, it makes all look bad.

It's called being responsible!!!!!!!! Seems some people now days see being irresponsible, as being some what cool??? Just take a look at the idiots on social media. And what they are stupid enough to do, and show it??? Ignorance, and arrogance, constitutes a idiot as my father said. He would have a very, very difficult time in today's society!!!

Just got back from Bergland area, other then the trails being terrible I saw sleds riding around stay on trail signs , braaping through town and driving way to fast in town. I now this kind of behavior is not isolated only to this area. But it was ridiculous . Not just younger rides , plenty of men that should know better and show some respect. Was told police are really going to be showing there presence in the area around the lake.

Irresponsible snowmobilers will do in the snowmobiling in any area, with out the cops. There should be no need of police enforcement if people conduct themselves in a responsible manner. Respect others property as if it were your own. I do have to say that the Bergland area does not seem to be friendly to snowmobilers as it used to be. Perhaps now we know why??? Wife and I seen a group of sleds ripping the s--t out newly planted field of trees several years ago. Yellow "stay out" ribbon/tape all the way around the entire field, 40 acres, mostly knocked down, and drove over. Just plain sad to see.

… Wife and I seen [sic] a group of sleds ripping the s--t out newly planted field of trees several years ago. …
As in the immortal words of Julius Caesar (almost):
"We came, we seen, we conquered"? Aaaack!

Well we have blamed the cops, had grammer corrections made, complaints about grooming and millennials in this thread.

Seems like a near complete waste of time. Good to know the community takes poor behavior seriously.

Wow (plate 621 HMV, for intentional embarrassment) you really did post there plate. Good luck on your rentals cause we where thinking of heading your way, but now that we are a community of poor behavior we just roll on.

Sure did. I can post pictures too. Maybe the angry thread as well?

Defense of bad behavior is an odd position to take...this is precisely why it seems less friendly. Roll on.

Can 6 locals nursing their $.75 tappers for an hour really keep your doors open?

Sorry for the bad behavior on the part of a few individuals but burnt bridges are even worse in PR terms.
