I am disappointed!!! I thought by being labeled as banned, you had gained a "larger than life" place in the JD discussion board. Perhaps this is the online version of the Hindu caste system...start as member, then to junior member, then to senior member, then moderator, then to super moderator, then administrator...and finally reincarnated as "BANNNED." Or perhaps, for all the Catholics out there, banned is vanquished to purgatory. Whatever "banned" is, it must be a cold and lonely place...

By the way, my first language is sarcasm. We'll leave the english language to frnash.

No it's not....but if it were cold....I would have lots and lots of company wouldn't I...and none of them darn Yamaha's making noise would just suit me fine too. Nothin but cool jazz, and turbo's....that's the ticket!

A friend of mine is a substitute teacher. The other day one of her third grade boys referred to her as a "douchebag." She was a bit taken aback!

I am now 40 years young and this resurgence of the term "DB" has me just laughing every time I here it. Back in the day when I was in 5th grade a couple buddies and I got out dictionary during library time and looked up all the dirty words we could think of. Over a couple of days we became the experts in all the dirty words on our class. One day we stumbled on "DB", and for what ever reason the term stuck with us to this day. Not really sure why, but I am sure the Webster's definition probably grossed us out the most.

I am sure we were not the first grade school boys to use the term to describe our teacher, or any other girl or nerd on the play ground at school, but over the years it has endured the test of time for this small group of friends that still hang out to this day.

My understanding is that the popularity of my whitty and insightful posts spawned jealous outrage and demand of swift action to squelch the over the top rhetoric , lest a coup be on the horizon to expand the realm of what could be an even more exciting website,...I stand down naked for all to see, that i am but one man , who has turned over a new leaf ;;;; hence forth only to be sharing recipes and trail reports of which I know to be factual and truthful.
Let my unwanted humor be left in that lonliest of places forever known in my past as banishment,... for into this new world I shall enthusiasticly embark, striving ever more fervently to asSimilate into the beige tones of this house.
Happy Easter.....
