My honest opinion on week one is the bears are gonna have some plays that the packers are not going to be ready for. they are going to have matchup night mares the packers are not ready for. they will score points, likely on big plays. The question will be.....how good will the packers offense play or how poorly will the bears defense play, if packers play no mistake no turnover and score in the redzone they will in all likelihood.. win. but if they make a mistake...well this game may surprise some people. Excited to see roquan smith greet sharron with a blitz up the middle. I also like that roquan will likely be spying sharron at times and I don't see him having much of a chance of outrunning our new monster.
I mean what film are the packers defense going to watch to prepare? the final 5 weeks of Kansas city last year? they be like well number 87 of Kansas city is going to be like 84 on the bears. and 23 is like 27...and so on....
Yah I'm sure Rodgers is real scurred of a rookie playing his first game showing him a blitz package he's never seen before.
Rodgers eats blitz's up like a lion eats raw meat. he'll have that kid on a yo yo,
"Excited to see roquan smith greet sharron with a blitz up the middle"
Of everything I write you single out this sentence and respond that Rodgers is scared and how awesome Rodgers is vs blitz. hahaha . great response, really haha great response.
We'll Mo in all honesty I didn't have time nor the energy to dissect the other nonsense that was in your post.
i.e....."bears and big play".
I'm confident in saying no one has said that in the same sentence in ohhh about 20 years
Keep hope alive tho kid that's half the battle.
True it all starts on paper with a coaching plan and then signing the talent that can rock and roll. The Bears look very exciting on paper but no team in the North is weak so Bears will be tuff but MN should still dominate the division. GB is somewhat unknown but a good team when Rogers can play. It should be competitive with the Bears young and improving. Pace is never done and will always be bringing in new players so the final roster is still unknown so new edge rusher could happen or Fangio will design a rush coming from somewhere else.

No doubt about it extreme pressure is on Trubisky and I hope he can handle it. It goes with the territory when your the alpha stud QB in Chicago and have all the toys to be a star. Poor guy is batismal by fire with hungry fans and management looking for a long awaited winner. We all want it and Nagy needs to take the pressure of the kid somehow. It will be something else to watch for sure.Gona be all about trubisky. The young talent is there, with good QB play there is no limit. Haters will hate, but I feel trubisky will be the bears long awaited savior at the QB position

well I see nothing new to read here,,,moving along.
Lots of good reasons mostly subpar players and WRs that limited Trubisky last season. O coaching was limited in scope as well. Trubisky has the talent around him but not many have the Bears better than 500 this season on paper. To me the pressure to win will be heavy early season and could be 0-5. I sure hope not but possible. 2-3 would be good but difficult to think 5-0 or even 4-1 is a dream. He didn't seem rattled ever last year. I think he has no issues with pressure. Even his 1st game against Minnesota on Monday night.
Was reading bears turned down 2 trade offers from the raiders and bills on draft night. they wanted roquan smith bad enough to refuse them(which im glad). we got young field generals on both sides of the ball now.
That’s exactly what I’m talking about all this paper anticipation is unreal on Trubisky and Nagy needs to redirect that pressure in a constructive way. I think Nagy can put the focus on himself or the entire team but a slippery slope if winning does not happen quickly. I think the Bears can find 7-8 wins but more than that would be overly optimistic. Let’s hope the skill players can stay healthy.
Vegas betting line is having nothing to do with a Bears winning season most have Bears sub 500 lowest I saw was 6 wins best was 8 many at 7 and all agreed North is very competitive and had Bears in last place. Bears are much improved on paper but need time to get rolling. 3 year window to get to SB if Trubisky is the real deal.I would like to see Trub be a top 10 QB but that's a big stretch right now and simply a guess. Kind of like thinking how good a draft class is going to be. He really had zero pressure on him last year and the pressure is only going to get bigger..can he handle it, who knows but I believe he can. Of course it depends on his surrounding players, but if you surround any QB with quality players they should be good. Can he be a top 10 QB, sure. But lets give it a few years.
oh i agree completely that the Bears will still be a improved but last place team in the NFC North. Pack still has rodgers and beat bears with a backup last year, Vikes only improved this year from a great season last year, Lions are always a hot/cold team. this year will be a big year for Trub, my guess is he will be a solid NFL QB but not a HOF type guy
