Best Truck Tires?

Hello forum, long time reader and fan of this site. I have to replace the tires on my 08 Tahoe, any suggestions? I don't do a lot of off-road driving but obviously do pull a trailer and two sleds. I currently have Bridgestone Duehler H/T's on the truck (came with it new when I bought it) but two of them are almost bald already-not super thrilled with them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance....

I just bought the Cooper Discoverer AT/3. It took me a while to decide and I decided to not go high end. Got a set of 4 for $700 and they're 18" wide tires. I like them so far. No road noise and look good.

Most of my driving is to and from the UP as far as the road goes. Then when I'm in the UP I do a lot of driving on two tracks and such.

Mr. Freeze uses Blizzak's (bridgstone) and wow, do they ever get a hook up here in da snow covered roads of the UP. He drives crazy miles in the trucks and says they are the very good. I believe they are pricey but hey, we know they perform! I have ridden with him many times i the winter and he always stomps on it through the snow and I always no friggin way a truck can hook up in these conditions especially a front end heavy duramax.

Wow is it ever snowing hard now!

Well if ya want good snow tires dont get firestone destination m/t's. i felt like a hockey puck last night LOL this winter is going to be interesting

I've run Cooper in the past also. Good tires. I put General HTS on my Suburban this time. They're rates as best SUV tire last I knew. However, after about 15,000 miles I am somewhat disappointed in the treadwear and the sidewall stability. I pull a 30' travel trailer and a 22' enclosed sled trailer. The truck gets squirmy quicker than it did with the Stock tires, which were Firestones.
Cooper. Good tread wear, low noise. AMERICAN MADE!

You really can't beat them. Wish I would have decided to go with them last time when bf had to replace my tires under warranty. Went with Mich mtx and they are great just not when pulling a 27' with p rated tires.
