I hope for the sanity of all you Vikequeen fans, that he ends his season with something other then an interception?!?!?! I'm glad the circus is in MN and not in Green Bay and most importantly I'm glad the future of our franchise lays in the hands of a 26 year old stud and not a 41 year old "one and done" guy.

I am from Green Bay and I'm worried about who's playing for us! Can't wait for Favre to throw away another pick in a big game again, highlight of the Vikes year last year. They ain't gonna get to the SB without AP holding onto the ball. The Pack will be back and yes I always look forward to the Vikes game, but that was way before Favre even left here.

The place was still sold out every game with or without Brett. It was the second season without him anyways. He wasn't even the top selling jersey anymore in 08, Hawk was. Both of my daughters work at the Pro Shop and the place has been nuts so far. Biggest selling days for Shareholders day and Family Night ever and the season hasn't even started yet. People are pretty excited for the new season.
As for mister Favre, last year he all of sudden decided to play again, yet the Vikings were ready with jerseys, shirts, posters, drinking glasses, everything under the moon with his face on it that day. This year the three schmoe's went down to talk him into coming back. He said "Aw shucks guys, I'll do it for you and the team". (not the money: wink, wink)
If people are buying all this, someone could be making a fortune on ocean front property over there in Minnyland.
I'm not a Favre hater. He's always been fun to watch and keeps you on the edge of the couch. Because you never know when he'll pull off something great or something out if his butt. No one in the NFL brings out the media frenzy like he and he knows it.

Lets not forget the money as pointed out, he's guarunteed what ever his contract ends up being the minute the kick off is booted in New Orleans.
But, this is a team that now has ALL 22 starters from last year back on the field. THAT doesn't happen that often in the NFL, and they were one turn over away from going to the big dance...... This is a chance to win it all, who wouldn't take that?c

The results for 2010 will be the same as the results for 2009. The team with the least injuries to its key players that commits the least turnovers will win the Superbowl. On paper the Packers are very tough but not as deep as the Vikes. It is a long season. Yes, the Vikes return all of their starters. Every one of them is a year older. The 'O' line will still probably suck. It is Aug 18. Way too early to start talking about Superbowls for anybody. Purple stuff selling good right now. This whole Favre thing is just about $. They will cover Favre's salary with the purple junk they sell between now and the opening kickoff in NO.
