You dedication to the Packers is strong, you make that real clear. No problem with that. They are a good hard playing team.

The Vikings are desperate for a QB that is for sure but Brett is also desperate to play for a team that wants him to play for them unlike the Pack who pretty much pushed him to the curb to make way for your younger QB. I agree that he will go into the "hall" as a Packer and I have no problem with that. I've always liked the way the guy plays regardless of the color of his jersey. The Vikes are lucky to have him for these two years.

If Brett wins the superbowl this year will he go into the Hall Of Fame as a Viking or as a PACKER ?? what do you think?

Players are inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame as individuals, not associated with a team. Players inducted into the MLB Hall of Fame go in with a designated team.
He will go in as Brett Favre, NFL quarterback. And that's the way that works. End of this debate.

No debate from me on this issue?? One thing I'm positive about though is his #4 will be retired 4ever in Green Bay. Like I said...he's simply out on rent right now.

I still don't agree with the folks that say the Packer's kicked him to the curb.
He retired, said he was done and couldn't do it anymore. We all saw the press conference. They went to him twice in the next couple of months before draft time, he turned them down again. The Packers felt they had his replacement and moved on. July came around and he demanded his spot back. The Packers said, "sorry Brett, but you retired. They were done playing his game.
It really doesn't matter anymore what went down, we'll never know the truth. If Ziggy and Chilly don't mind his act, that's their business. Not ours.

As for the Packers retiring his number. I"m sure it will happen down the road. All will be forgiven by both sides and the fans.

Thier is no argument that he is good for the NFL. People go nuts for him.

I still think Brett wants to win the big one with whoever while he still can physically and sweep the Pack one more time! He's not really a traitor because Ted traded him as far away as he could and did'nt want a chance of seeing him for 4-5 yrs. The Minny owner is a smart owner and businessman to hire him to sell tickets !! cant wait till the season starts ! my .02 lol

What you all seem to forget, the NLF is entertainment and Brett is a VERY GOOD entertainer. This whole drama is planned well in advance and the whole sports(media) thrives on it.

This is great fun and I hope my Vikes kick your Packer butts again.
