Can a 2002 Polaris X-Edge 600 that's stock hit 125mph?

I would have to say absolutely not. That particular year produced some pretty hot Polaris sleds including the xcsp 600 but hitting that speed seems impossible.

GPS is not always 100% accurate. I had a reading of 591 mph backing out of the garage. I'm in a hurry to get to work somedays, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't going 591 mph.

I had several bad top speed reedings on my Garmin too while riding. I think the highest I had was in the 150'S MPH and know for sure I wasn't doing over 100 MPH. Tell your you associate he is full of BS.

had a xc 600 2000 gen 2 (it was first year exhaust valve) With about a 3/4 mile run on glare ice with the wind we could get 110 mph on the gun. That was a stock sled with about 600 miles on it. We did the same thing 4 years later when the sled had 5000 miles on it and never touched and we could still get 110 on the radar gun. No chance you could get 125 out of that sled. I know as the suspensions got taller over the years the sleds got slower. (generally speaking)

I think any discussion of speed near 125 mph is like a discussion about a deer weighing more than 200 lbs. Most deer claimed to be over 200 lbs never hit a scale as most speeds at 125 are not measured on a calibrated radar. In both cases, it certainly exists but not to the extent that we hear about it.
