It was kind of fun getting back in the groomer and panning the Hiawatha!! The drag had fun sliding all over the place too. It sounds like they are talking about opening Onieda Co. on Dec. 12th and we'll see what Lincoln Co. does. They usually wait till the 15th when the land owner agreements go into effect. It seemed like we were making headway on brushing and addressing a couple trail reroutes untill the snow hit. Now it's difficult to get wheelers anywhere, can't really get the groomer to the areas that need work and it's hard to haul posts and signs and saws on the sleds. Oh well, hunting seasons here anyway. Can't do much for a couple weeks. We'll get er done and everything will be fine one way or another. Thanks to everyone for the help and support. Will try and let everyone know when it's OK to go pack down those swamps. I say we take the rentals from Erv's. Even I'll ride a Polaris for that!!

few yrs back I had to do a swam with a 2x4 about 5 ft long with a rope tied to both ends . walk with 1 foot on board to knock down cat tails atv would not get though to wet. was only way to get it down so it would freeze. think we have a small swap we will have to do that way soon .atvs could not get through to knock down few weeks back to wet .
