Nearing 30 dead now. I don't get it!

This kind of stuff is happening way too frequently. Seriously....5-10 year olds?? WTH???? A senseless act by a deranged coward, and he's dead (he got off easy). Very little consolation knowing he'll burn in he11 for the rest of time. Give your kids a little tighter hug tonight, and be sure to tell them how much you love them.

It brings a guy to his knees and is just unbelievable. It rips at my heart real bad, especially when 5-10 year olds are involved. Why?
It's nauseating. My only source of information on this has been from the posts here (get an e mail from all posts made on the board).
I cannot even comprehend the sadness.
Prayers have been and will be said for all.
I know one thing, I care not to know anything more about this and am going to avoid the news programs for quite some time.
Looking forward to a quiet evening in the woods, with my family, Christmas music playing, a big old bowl of popcorn, getting my butt kicked in chutes and ladders, candy cane lane and go fish.

My brother sent me a text about it, I turned on the tv, watched it for about 20 minutes, and then put a sled vid in. I was just so upset watching it, they were just children for gods sake! WTH is wrong with people?
Gave my "child" (she is 17) a big hug when I picked her up at school this afternoon.

I heard most if not all the kids were in kindergarten. My wife is the library instructor at a school that houses all the kindergarten classes for her entire district. About 700 kids in her school and they all come through the library once a week. I came home today about 2 minutes after she got home, didn't say a word, just came over and hugged her. She started crying right away and couldn't let go. I can't remember the last time a hug lasted as long as that one did.
Do what you can for those people directly affected by this, but remember people in your own area too. This will have a big emotional effect on a lot of people that work in similar settings in our own neighborhoods.

bad day my friends,, bad day
Ya know I don't even bat an eye when I see a story of some fool shooting up a place, it seems to happen all the time I don't even click on the story...kinda sad. This incident though is different. Kindergartners?? The # of dead! It's incomprehensible someone could do this.
The sad-scary thing is there is some other kook out there right now watching this coverage and thinking I could do bigger and badder. Sad state of affairs.
