Seen a few comments on various threads about how slow things on the site are and the really off topic posts. Just amazing to me that not much is going on in the discussion board when every time I log on there are usually over 125 users online. Figure there has to be something going on with that many people checking in so what's up?

Working 9 days straight 106 hours not much time to come on here and yak yak yak. I've fixed everything on my truck I ruined this winter, encoder motor sensor for the 4wd, tachometer stepper motor since that didn't work, oil pan gasket only had to pull the front axle, abs sensors since those mothers pulsated like a sob, rotated tires, painted the frame a bit, fixed my fog lights, and a headlight, new serp belts so they don't squeak like a bi+ch anymore, take the intake off and drain all the oil out of it, clay barred and waxed it, detailed the interior and under hood, been fixing up my switchback for my buddy to buy it, and sold my rmk. Bought a new tool box, bought more tools, the usual. Currently looking for 1-1.5 acres of land to purchase and build a garage on next summer. And attempting to patiently wait for my 2015 RMK 800 to come in.

Started planting corn on the 9th of May, then cool and rainy for a few days, started planting again on the 17th went full bore for a week,
then spent this week planting in some wet areas, finished yesterday.
I've still been working my part time summer job,(golf course equipment maintenance) a few hours a day.
Of course I check in here a.m. and p.m.

Like most folks who have experienced a rather delayed start to "spring", we have been busy busy outdoors getting the yard raked & cleaned up of all the branches, limbs & twigs, flower beds & vegetable garden's ready for planting, swimming pool set up, play set rebuilt & repaired for the kids & grand kids, setting up the gazebo, hauling out the lawn furniture, putting away the shovels, blower & plow & starting some staining & painting. I still have yet to mow the grass for the first time, been too dry lately so that can wait a while. How's that? -Mezz

In Vilas we went from waiting & hoping for 1st 60 degree day right to low 80s sunny & dry. No Spring just Winter & Summer.lol So things are popping around here. Piers, lifts, boats water now in 60s, lawns need mowing, flowers planted, trucks serviced ,sleds put away everything all at once.

Been working on a project that will take me to Savanah GA for about 16 weeks this summer and early fall. Be back just in time to pick up the new Vipers. Got some early camping in and worked on my honey do list at home. Celebrated my moms 90th birthday in Atlanta, she's a tough old bird, lol. Got to spend lots of time with my grandson while my daughter was deployed. And still had time to check on JD, lol. Have a great summer everyone.

Many of the past regulars have stated that the group dynamics have changed.
Myself, I agree. My business has taken off like a rocket eating up a massive amount of time. Found time to stop by today as I am recovering from knee surgery and judge Judy reruns are getting old.

Making a come back here. Last trip of the season was so epic, I didn't think I could bear to be on the site and think about it all spring/ summer/ fall. I believe the number of online users includes those dudes that may be signed in on their smart phone, etc. but don't completely close the screen. I've done that a lot in the winter and it seems to show me online all day.

Slacker! Man, I love to hate the clay bars. Takes twice as long to wax the truck cuz I HAVE to make the paint silky smooth. Some days I wish I had never discovered them as I can't do wax job without claying first. "Anything worth doing is worth doing right"

3rd post in 20 minutes if that helps the cause...

Lots of time taken up with the truck at the moment. Some f***er coming at me (texting) and came into my lane. When I realized he wasn't gonna be getting back over, went up onto the curb, but he clipped my bedside. Depending on who you ask, there's about $8000 in damage. Sooooo flippin ticked, truck will never be the same. Namely cuz (as with most insurance company's) they will be using "like new" and aftermarket parts. Really don't get that, they say they will make it "good as new" but I have to say that would be using OEM parts. Sure didn't have any aftermarket junk on the truck prior to this JA slamming into it, so why should I have to settle for this now??? Not cool!!!

Don't let the insurance company B.S. you. The law is very clear. You can take your vehicle to any shop you want and insist on factory parts. Insurance company can not refuse. You also do not need to chase down three quotes.

Take some time one evening and read your policy---You will be surprised at the rights you have.

Good luck with your repairs.................

Kid accepted full blame and his insurance is covering (Geico). I know they have a clause in their policy's that states repairs will be done using aftermarket or like new parts. But that should only apply when the POLICY HOLDER is having THEIR ride fixed. Claims adjuster is trying to say he "has" to do the same for my repairs. I'm calling BS like you all said, so I'll be talking to the shop when I drop it off.

no free time to lounge. The Explorer lost all 4 wheel bearing and rear coil overs,,,all at same time, fixed that. Dryer went down, fixed that, dishwasher went down and fixed that. Just keep fixing things, I'm tired of that! The good, I added some HID lighting to the Rhino and wow, superb!

A busy week around the Homestead, mostly landscaping work by adding Wood Chips and Cedar Mulch to existing beds and borders. Hauled some rock for the daughter's place on Saturday and that's it...I'm done, it's Beer:30 and time to relax. Maybe take our Idiot Dog down to the lake for a swim later on.
