Question for the current poo owners. What model in the poo line-up matches the ski-doo mxz xp 600 e-tech adrenalyn shorty the closest.

FEEL the rush! :) A lot of guys will buy them even with questionable motor reliability due to their ride and handling. There are TONS of guys on HCS who ordered brand new ones, I can't wait to hear how the 136 pro ride will do (even though i'll never be able to afford one, oh well, I can dream right?)

Questionable reliability on the 600? Polaris' best motor, and seems the '11 800 has proven to be good as well.

Yes, a Pro-R 600 would be comparable.

Go tell that one to the guys on HCS, all of their 600 cfi's are burning down at around 3k miles. Fuel filters have been to blame, I guess they're a $100 fuel filter too?!?!?

I'll let you know Indy! I'll have a 600 in mine.

I think the problem is your only hearing from the people with problems. My 07 600 CFI 4,000 miles and no motor issues! Yes the filter is changed every year. It is on the expensive side $60 but it's allot cheaper than a rebuild. Great power and throttle response on mine. I also run the Sea and Snow Indy!

I'd like to hear stories like yours, but with twice the miles. Keep in mind yours has 4 injectors and the new ones have 2. Then again you are right, I am hearing the bad stories, and not the good.

In case you haven't heard, Polaris has made a few "changes" with the 600 but they won't release what they exactly did. Have you heard anything about this? I'm hoping it's the "8000 mile no worry" package that they installed ;)

Need I say more? lol I feel bad saying these things when guys are speculating buying one, but when you go on forums and look at the # of guys holding onto their edges for $ and reliability, it amazes you. Then the guys who have newer sleds have nothing but problems. Maybe I'm the problem? :)

I did read that in Snow Goer but I still haven't heard what it is. I've asked my dealer and they've heard nothing. Snow Goer said they would have an update on their website by the end of March, but I haven't checked on it. I'm anxious to hear what it is!

As mentioned, the fuel filter is a maintenance item, recommended to be changed at the first 1k miles, every 2k after that. A blocked fuel filter on a 2-stroke spells trouble, especially with the manufacturers trying to comply with the EPA and have the sleds running lean.

I have also seen where some guys will take an EDGE chassis over the newer sleds, maybe since they can still work on them-no computer or fuel injection, but having had both, I'd go with the newer sleds. Just the ergonomics alone is enough to go with the newer sleds!

Back to the original topic.....

The group I ride with has 3 2010' rush 600's and one burned down after 2800 miles the others have been fine. I would not say its really a problem. People need to remember that of the few people who write in saying they are having problems there is useally double that who don't write in and have no problems. I follow my 4 stroke forum on doo talk and see problems always get highlighted and seem worse as all the people with no problems you never hear from. Just my opinion

Snow Monkey. I am a current 2011 600 Pro R Rush owner, with that being said I never have driven a 2011 XP to give a comparison. I put on 2750 miles on it this year. It has the original plugs, belt, wear rods and hifax. None of needs to be changed yet.

The problems I did have is it devolved a small coolant leak in a fitting on the engine that needed tightening. The low oil light pops on randomly when it gets down 2 or more quarts. I also had to put the fat boy spring on the rear shock. I weigh around 260

The down side is it is important to change the $90.00 fuel filter. Also cleaning the power valves is major pain in the butt including loosing the steering post to do it. I had the dealer do both at 2750 miles.
