bro..we need a little more story on this one

Climbed up a chute like path up a mountain side in Tog. Turned out at the top and my momentum brought me close by a few trees, well a dip of some sort next to the trees tossed me in. Completely smoked the tree, ripped the ski and spindle off, foot got caught in my footwell as i went flying. Dislocated my knee and partially tore my meniscus. There i sat with a knee popped out of place screaming and nobody to help. Took my buddy 3 trys to get high enough up the hill to help, took 3 hrs to drag the sled 10 miles back to the lodge.

Since you asked...

Riding way above your skill level, or taking totally unnecessary risks? My guess is you'll be back at it again this season. (hammerhead)
I'm sure we won't know how the insurance claim went, or how much your rates went up.
Just SMH.

Hope your doing well Indy, a knee dislocation can be a serious issue depending on the severity and which bone was dislocated. Did you have to have it set back in place or did it go back on its own? Hope your back in action and ready to ride this year!

Lmao. The only way to improve as a rider, is to push yourself past your comfort level. I've ridden with Indy, and he is helluva rider, and only getting better, and, no, he did not make an insurance claim.

What r u, his dad defending the son? LOL Ask him how he feels in 25 years when he needs reconstruction on that knee after crippling himself on a mountain.
A fool and his $$ are soon parted.

I was riding again 2 weeks after the incident with a pretty pricey knee brace. Probably shouldnt have ridden the rest of the season, but, winters short! It kept going back in by itself, but it popped out a total of 3 times, the 2 other times were while i was trying to help get my sled down off the mountain. Id rather not endure that much pain ever again... That happened January 3rd, i think within this last month (10 months later) it finally feels 100%. For the longest time it would click a lot when biking and get very sore, and could definitely feel it pretty good when twisting to get in and out of vehicles.

No insurance claim was made but because of the incident i now have new white polaris grippers, new black anodized zollinger spindles, and the new raptor sr-37 front a arm kit (waiting for the a arms in the mail yet) awaiting install.

Do any of them fancy AM products have a tree avoidance system built in?

That's awesome. Doesn't seem like that long ago you were posting about riding an old Polaris to high school.
