I hope John's forecast pans out this week! An epic start to winter would be awesome for once. :)

An epic snow event would be nice, but readers be ware! The exact mention of the word "Epic" was used in the following context.... "potential for epic snows in portions of the UP LES belts."

I mean winter storm cleon may drop some Epic numbers in many areas of the northwoods. If north of highway 8 gets 5+ inches of wet heavy snow, it would be a perfect start to season. Huge cold front dropping in this weekend to firm everything up and plenty of time to dump more snow before the Dec 17th wisc opener.

And I said "I hope" it works out. I'm smart enough to know it's not a sure thing, but I prefer to be an optimist right now and not throw cold water.

X2 .... I don't see how this week's snowfall will be a fart in a spacesuit? Snow going to fall all over just have to see how much & where. Should be a good week for area trails both northern WI & UPMI. JD being conservative ok with me. Let it snow.....:)

Staying positive, hoping for the snow. We have Dec 12-15 booked for a trip, if they get the snow its gonna be amazing! If not, we will move it back. Think snow!

This weekends booked nothing better than riding while the fresh stuff is falling! It ain't fresh pow if its a week old!

Mspease - Was not directing it at you. Apologies on that, but far to often I've seen and heard of folks getting real bent out of shape if an event doesn't pan out as hoped for.... X2 on remaining optimistic and hoping it comes together.

I got my snow stick ready even though the majority of the LES it will nail north of M-38. Looking forward to this weeks forecasts big time. ...Somebody groomed the main trail here in Ironwood already so i guess i'm ready to ride,

I love this pic! All that fresh snow and a temp of 15F. Perfect!!

..........Not at the moment. i'm going to make one last effort to find a host for my webcam so can join NCN, if not a link that family and friends can use...And thanks Catalac! i like it too.
