They had this on Foxnews I think, they were only 25 ft into the maze and the kids freaked, and so then did the parents.

Why not just lift one of the kids up and look to see where the closest edge is?

City Slickers, we got 80 acre corn mazes around these parts.

My elderly parents planted more than 7 acres of sweet corn this year and it was a pick your own type deal. Wonder if anyone is still wandering around in there. lol. Cull the herd.

Back in Illinois I had a 5 acre lot and allowed most of it to grow up all summer and in the fall I would hook the old bush hog up the the WD-45 and mow a 4 acre maze. I would draw up the maze on paper and keep it with me while making the maze. We would invite all my family and friends and have 75 people out there eating fresh sweet corn, drinks and my favorite Eisenberg all beef 1/4 hot dogs. Those were the days I tell ya. I would hide prizes in the maze and the kids loved it. Also sent the kids in teams and would have to see who could get the flag back to the start the fastest.

The Kankakee corn crop looked like a field of dreams for a fugitive: Right up until the police realized there was a farmer with a combine ready to do some harvesting.

The farmer, Mark Tanner, fired up the combine Wednesday and started chewing away at the hiding place. Within 90 minutes, the suspect walked out of the field and into police custody, the Daily Journal reports.


Tanner was getting ready to harvest anyway, although not with the bullet proof vest police gave him.

The suspect, Daniel Thomas, 19, ran into the field after jumping from a vehicle that sheriff's police pulled over.
