It's been fun reading this post. So many are so quick to rip Favre in this case for things that never happened. The media is the one playing the joke on us. Favre is probably kicking back and laughing at all the craziness while he just waits on his ankle to heal...and doesn't go to training camp. This should be another great season for football no matter if you like the Vikes or not.

I personally think he'll be back...he may still be having nightmares about the pounding he took from the Saints though. It's a long season, the Vikes may not want him to come back until the second game of the season!

This is just a bunch of media generated crap. World cup is over, no olympics, not quite baseball penant race time yet. Tiger can't golf anymore, no hockey, no basketball. Just a product of a slow news day. Favre is Favre and he will always be Favre. He says stuff just to get the media excited. If he feels good he will play. If anything it might be a wakeup call for the Vikes O-Line. They suck.
