why do I have to become a more responsible human once I am on a sled?....i probly have way less control than a tire vehicle when we meet yet I have to be more alert than a tire vehicle.....no one (autos)stops at stop signs anymore when they are on the road so get off yur high horses....(except of course for the HTT )
Being on a sled I am closer to being a pedestrian than a driver in a head to head match with even a compact car....I see the "watch out for motorcycle" signs all over the place yet on a sled I need to be jesus C perfect and be more conscious a you than you are of me....on a busy weekend, sleds in the Yoop out number cars 10 to 1.

Oh, where to start: 1) One would hope that you are just as responsible on the roads you share with us; 2) If you are not in control, SLOW DOWN; 3) Nobody is saying YOU have to stop at all stop signs. However, you do control your own destiny, so if you choose to blow a stop sign be prepared for the possible permanent consequences. Since you brought it up, if you don't stop you might meet JESUS sooner than you planned.

Coming into Grand Marais the other day we saw a group blow a stop sign one after another even with a car RIGHT THERE coming down the road. The car finally stopped to let the final 4 sleds through. IDIOTS !!

In our safety instructor class for mn it says the % but i don't remember off top of my head but majority of fatalities occur with speed factor and or alcohol not saying that's what happened with these ones just the numbers for mn not matter how it happens sad for the famiy

Paying the $1.50 gas premium in northern Ontario is more and more appealing, the more you read about the weekend racers on here. We rode 4 days up there earlier this month, saw between 2 and 8 other sleds each day. Buddy made fun of me for stopping right in the middle of the trail, like I owned it or something.

Back on topic, sad people can't adjust their riding to conditions and traffic.
