U were the one that said he isn't worth a million and far as I know TT isn't on this board, hence the reasoning I'm questioning u.

Well don't question me, point your ? at TT, he didn't even offer something > $0. Makes a great play one game, and disappears for 3-4, and you see him trailing a fat TE down the middle.
Hydes an OK player, roster filler, the type you sign for a bit above league minimum, after he "fails out" of this contract in 1.5-2 years. No huge loss.

Well Pace has been active in Tier 2 FAs in areas of need just hope these guys have some talent and make the Bears competitive. Eddie Lacy still unsigned so is AP but AP not a surprise injured and old.

Love the signings of Kendricks and Bennet.

upgrade at TE... Rogers has to like Bennet FA signing but again 1 year contract. Lots of good TE prospects in 2017 draft. TT let TJ Lang & Sitton go IDK about that?

Just checked a 3 year deal but can Bennet keep his mouth shut for 3 years? I highly doubt it and GB can get in some really bad slumps where Bennet will have to say something ...can't help himself when the mouth starts running.

Should help packers offense as they have been weak at TE

Still surprised the packers haven't improved their defense more so far

Marcus cooper another good signing for pace

Pace FA signings slowed way down..can't seem to find out much this week. Patterson wants back with Vikings so that is prolly dead or dying. Heard any rumors?

Not much. At least the bears wont have the worst DB's in the league again. Safety and CB much improved, also likely to draft another as its a deep draft for DB's. Think now its focus on O-tackle in FA as bears pretty set with Guard and center. No idea who bears are looking to take #3 overall. Seemed like a lock to take allen but his injury reports now have him falling outside the top 5.

2017 Draft loaded with quality TEs, CBs, Edge Rushers,WRs & RBs but lite on QBs. IDK if draft gets past Jets without taking a QB then no team soaking in the QB hype no matter what is said. All of them seem like pro projects....I'm ok if Pace waits to round 3 to draft a QB maybe 2 if Watson or Tribsinski still there but none of them early round 1 picks. 2018 loaded with QBs so much better odds next year.

Some mock drafts I have seen have Watson, Trubinski and mahomes all going in the top 15 in 1st round. Only kizer falling into second round. Not sure what paces plan is, but he has to draft a QB sometime. Glennon is there until the next young gun is ready. Maybe he trades back or reaches in 1st round. If he thinks any QB is Pro-bowl caliber he has to go get him.

I agree Watson, Trubinski and Mahomes best 3 QBs but not starters in year 1. The rest are junk... late draft rounds if at all. 3rd pick overall is difficult for me to swallow for any of them but maybe round 2. The teams that draft later in round 1 don't need project QBs so who knows how this will shake out? Top 3 picks overall should be can't miss first year starters. If your QB pick is not ready til 2018 or 2019 maybe better to draft a QB in 2018 that is ready to start unless you can get a good one round 2 or 3 & coach him up.

No worrie mo we still have the worst DB's in the league and Primetime ain't walking thru that door.

Yea kinda suprsing the packers haven't made a move for some DBs. Wonder what their plan is. I have a wild guess, the draft ..... It is a deep CB draft but I would of expected them to get at least one proven NFL vet.

GB O line took a beating in free agency too. Not sure what TT is doing there either? GB had to run the table to get in playoffs long shot but did it...next year too... very doubtful. GB so far not a better team for 2017 and rest of North on paper looks better.

Lacy just couldn't stay in shape. My guess is he'll eat himself outta the league in two years.

I thought Lacy was a good match for Seahawks....still young & big hard runner that still has upside if he can take care of himself. I really liked to watch Lacy run the clock out in Q4 after D gets tired and behind not much interest in Dbacks sticking their heads in his way when he gets by linemen...lol... Good for Lacy... TT didn't want to pay him so prolly will go to the draft but GB needs a RB badly now. I think Hawks will use him as RB just hand him the ball and let him roll.

I wonder what AP wants for a contract? I see him as more of a rent a back for a year ...maybe 2...but comes with big injury risks.

267 lbs. McCarthy fined him before free agency for being so fat.

Carroll Said he doesn't care about the weight. Just wants a bruiser. We'll see how that works with their O-line.

I will say I did want Lacy back until I heard he ballooned out again. Im good with Montgomery as RB but they need a INSHAPE big guy in case it doesn't go as planned with Ty.

Just say NO to AP and Jamal. Maybe they have something left in the tank, but for the price they will need, and the injury history on both? No thanks. Id rather see Rashard Jennings, or a draft pick. I wouldn't mind Murray, but it'd have to be cheap.

Bummer about TJ, but he got more money than he was worth in Detroit. Pay for the tackles, get serviceable guards. Good for him. I guess he's from that area as well?
