Yes and no. It all depends on if I can use them safely. On a tight curve/corner, no. At night, of course not. Otherwise, yes I will use them. I also instruct the group I'm riding with that if I'm already signaling as the leader, they do not need to. The sweeper will give the last rider signal. If there is a group behind us, they are responsible for themselves. There are others that disagree, to each there own. I ride with safety in mind at all times.

I use em... And I like it when other people use em too...

And because I've read the previous threads about this - not if I can't due to conditions or circumstances and not when it's dark

my edit - Yeah, what Skidooski said!

And I'm usually the sweeper so I get to fist bump my fellow riders (no, not really) but when I'm in the middle I"ll signal as well if we're all spread out.

It depends on the circumstances. If the guy is throwing fingers at me and he's marginally in control, then I don't. If they're under control I'll return the favor. I just returned from Price County where I met an idiot leading about 12 machines across an open farm field at night and he's flashing me two fives and a two!!!!

Good poll Firecatguy, obviously the majority of people think this is a good idea, and do show consideration to others on the trail by informing riders of other riders or not.

" I hate all you people who do " ???
I only have the 1 Internationally understood signal for those voters....

Agreed.

I use the same signal when I go around a turn and joey and jonny are racing side by side and jonny about clips me because he's on my side. The same signal goes to joey when he's on my side when we meet at the curves as he's washing out the corner. I've seen many guys about flip off their sled when they see me coming.
