You can choose to put it anywhere really. The entire kit is kind of install where you please. As far as being hard on sleds, I guess you could say I'm pretty rough! 3 a arms, front track shock, a track, front and rear bumpers, bent pipe, and a minorly cracked side panel for me this year. Not to sidetrack the thread but I threw together an edit Sunday while it rained all day. Nothing special, just the remaining clips I had left. I have music to it on my Facebook but youtube always takes down my music sooo... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8SN2jDT8gxQ

what is up with that rmk wont it ride on the right ski lol. good video makes me miss winter already .
this winter was slow for me only 2 a arms and a windshield and a seat cover .
I have never used insurance for a sled. always have it incase of a bad wreck or theft or worse a head on on the way back to trailer.
xxx07 how can it not sound remotely fun? with out a challenge in your sport time to move on or just buy a lark scooter .
I almost quit riding in like 03 was so over backpack trips and bar to bar stuff .then I really started taking notice of all those untouched trails we were flying by at 80mph and really needed to know where they went . then it took some time to keep going past the dead end

Never an insurance claim made here either. Last year on my 15 I had a bent pipe, cracked hood, cracked side panel, bent front bumper, and bent rails. I'd say about half of the bent or broken parts are usually run-able, doing this kind of riding you just have to accept the fact you'll never own a pretty sled. If I fixed everything I cracked, bent, or broke (hoods, side panels, tweaked pipes), my bank account would definitely hurt every winter. On my 15, the parts I went through or "bent/cracked" according to OEM parts finder is just over $1900. The bill on my 16 would be over $3400.

Doesn't matter, I've tried and they always take it down. Just easier for me to upload it without music to avoid a future hassle. Why would it seem that I haven't been out west? I have 14 days riding in the mountains this year. Here's a few clips from a few weeks ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aa-W5KuQdJY

I like your video Indy. No need for music. The sound of the 2 stroke is music enough. Man I wish I was 20 years younger with no back or neck issues. I would have loved to do that type of riding.
