Have you mowed your grass yet?

Might as well start talking about something else, snowmobiling is obviously out.

Who has mowed their grass yet, who is still holding out?

I mowed for the first time yesterday. Couldn/t believe it, had the John Deere riding mower set as high as it goes, 4 inches, and I was cutting up to six inches of grass. Even had to slow down in several areas to prevent bogging the engine.

Sure looks like I got my moneys worth on last falls TruGreen fertilization

The downside is, all the money I saved on gas due to the lame winter I will now get to spend on gas and beer while mowing this summer. With the early start, going to be mowing grass for about 7 1/2 months this year. Good thing there is a cupholder on the mower!

Probably this weekend. The earliest ever for me. I also have started my peppers for the garden indoors. They're up about 2 inches in the planter.

I mowed last Sunday. I just hit the high spots though. With the rain today and warm coming in for the wknd, it'll become a weekly thing pretty quick I suppose. I don't mind it though. Now, I gotta start thinkin about dandelions.

3x already, and it already needs it again.

Also had to switch from a/c to heat one morning this week, and back to a/c yesterday.

What a year!

Well, if it really needs it, you could snowblow the yard first, then mow it. That might get the neighbors really wondering about you

I could, as many parts of my lawn need it and have for a number of days. But, mowing in March is just plain sick and wrong and I refuse to do it. So, I'm waiting till Sunday.

Probably will do my tomorrow and even then is really 2 week two late as I have some areas that are so tall it will plug up the bag chute in just a few feet. I'm not happy about this.

Probably mowed 5 times already. Told the wife today that i might as well fire up the pool filter and get it going. Supposed to be close to 90 Sunday and Monday.

I think I am still a week or maybe two away, some people are mowing already though. We usually don't have to start until May.
